I can confidently say that this was the worst place I have ever stayed. The entire house was infested with bed bugs, which caused my wife and me to have a terrible experience. Unfortunately, we were extremely uncomfortable and distressed, and the bed bugs eventually got into our belongings and personal items. We did not notice the problem on the first day, but on the second night, we realized that something was crawling on our bodies. That was when we discovered the bed bug infestation and realized that this was absolutely not a suitable place to stay. Unfortunately, there was no one responsible or available in the building to help us or even provide any guidance. Not only did we have to deal with a very unpleasant and stressful experience, but all of our belongings also became infested with bed bugs.

Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber gestaltete sich bis kurz vor Anreise etwas schwer (am besten die bei Expedia hinterlegte türkische Handynummer per WhatsApp anschreiben). Die Unterkunft liegt super zentral, Bushaltestelle und Taksim Platz direkt vor der Tür. Die Unterkunft ist zwar recht frisch renoviert aber der Zustand lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig, keine der Zimmertüren lässt sich schließen, viele Teile sind locker und die Toilettenspülung funktioniert nur recht schwach. Alles in allem für den Preis aber absolut annehmbar

Very Disappointing Stay – Not Recommended! Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The biggest problem was the complete water supply failure during our stay. All taps stopped working. When we complained repeatedly, the owner claimed that rain had caused water problems throughout Istanbul. However, Park Star Hotel, located just opposite, had no such problem. We had to request permission to use their toilet, and we could not even take a shower. The hotel owner provided absolutely no assistance or alternative arrangements. Housekeeping was very poor. The rooms were not cleaned, and bedsheets and towels were not changed. The sink and washbasin did not drain properly. Complimentary water bottles were provided only on the first day. The bed was placed against the wall, making it difficult to get in and out. The kitchen had very few utensils, and the living room had only two light bulbs, making it difficult to work in the kitchen after sunset. Basic facilities, maintenance and customer service were extremely poor. Complaints were repeatedly ignored, and there was nobody willing to help. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Think carefully before booking, as your stay could become a very stressful experience.
