I cannot downplay just how terrible our experience here was. After a long flight and delay, we came to our hotel excited to stay at the ritz carlton. Upon arrival, we were informed that they had overbooked the king room we payed extra for and we would be forced to stay in 2 twins on our HONEYMOON. We were obviously furious and they didn't do anything to compensate for the lower tier room. We eventually did get into our room the next night but were only staying for two nights before a trip to Capodccia so we essentially got 8 hours in the room we payed for. Once we left we got the cherry on top - our food and beverage stipend was not honored and they refused to deduct it from our final bill. Speaking to both the staff and the management, no one was willing to help us and it was certainly not the standard I would expect from the brand.For those considerring a stay, I would advice to avoid the headache and look to other hotels in the area which offered a much better experience at half the cost and closer to the Sultanahmet.

Room service is slow at times. Had to remind few times. Phones in rooms are very old system. Loud music from outside at late night and also some kind of noise from outside during the day time that is annoying.
Unacceptable check jn. Extremely rude front desk staff. The worst possible wall facing room was given at first. I was declined to be given spa and food credits vouchers mentioned in my booking. Although i was staying for 7 nights period including my birthday night i had to fight for at least 1 floor higher room. Not a piece of cake or chocolate for my birthday. Cheated for spa and food vouchers. And that is Ritz Carlton. Never again. Thank you.
