Nice hotel
Nice new hotel convenient to I-20 and close to several good restaurants. Pleasant, helpful staff. Really good free breakfast. We very much enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was actually good. The first breakfast I’ve had in awhile at a hotel that’s been good. Hotel is clean on the inside and outside. Plenty of places to shop in the area as well.

I won't be a repeat customer!
The bad: When I first walked in for check in, I noticed a weird smell in the lobby. It smelled like trash hadn't been taken out. We were checking in late and we were exhausted so we ignored the smell in hopes that our room didn't smell the same way. I informed the front desk attendant that I only needed a 1 night stay. When I looked at my receipt she charged me for 2 nights. The hotel manager gave me the run around about approving a refund. I still haven't received those funds back. The good: The room was very clean and didn't have an odor like the hotel lobby. The beds were comfortable. I would not stay here again. The staff need to address that smell in the lobby. It's the first impression people have of the establishment. Listen to guests and don't overcharge them. Times are too hard for you to charge someone for a night they were not there. Not okay at all!!!
