This hotel is quite a distance from the centre; it's about 40 mins drive from Kotoka airport (longer depending on horrific evening traffic). There are no local restaurants or amenities which means you are reliant on taxis to get out and about. However the hotel is set in beautiful grounds by the sea. There is a lot of outdoor space to chill and a swimming pool that is kept clean (you see it being cleaned daily). There is also a nice lounge/bar area which is open 24/7. The hotel has a nice vibe with music playing throughout the day. My room on the second floor was totally adequate, a nice comfy bed, mirrors, desk, safe etc and there was daily housekeeping (I think they should get rid of the rugs and cushions which can be unhygienic). The room is well stocked with bottled water daily and a variety of teas and coffee. There's also a fridge. There are plenty of sockets though you have to move the furniture to get to some of them. The ensuite has a good shower however although clean, needs desperately to be re-grouted as It had the appearance of being grubby. The terrace was a nice space overlooking the pool and sea. The big let down for me was the restaurant. Given there is no easy access to restaurants in the area, every effort should be made for the restaurant to be the best it can be. The portions are huge but lacking in taste and flavour . It's Africa. Do African cuisine!
