Last night on the road.
Very strange. Full kitchen, no dishes. Only two bath towels and one face cloth for two people. Not even a cup of coffee in the whole building. Receptionist very pleasant.

Not what I expected.
The room was new and nice. There was no ice on the property for water, but ice trays in the freezer. The halls were very dirty and rooms smelled like people had been cooking in them. (Obvious but not expected) No kettle or coffee maker. Fewer basic amenities than a regular hotel.

Indio stay
Our king room was spacious with a full size refrigerator, microwave and stovetop. Amenities were very minimal with not even a coffee machine. No hand towel in bathroom, no tissues, etc only a small bar of soap and shampoo. Room hadn’t been dusted in awhile and there were some dried stuff on the hardwood floor that hadn’t been cleaned up. Also there is no breakfast whatsoever.

Not worth the money
Not good for the price, not even a complimentary coffee or water at lobby. Uncomfortable beds thin sheets bad towels cheap. Only good thing is that it’s close to shopping centers

A bit bleak and wifi issues
Some coffee in the room or lobby would be nice in the morning. The place seemed more equipped for longterm travelers instead of short term travelers. We were also unable to connect to the WiFi. We followed the instructions and it kept failing and the staff at the reception desk were unavailable when we called and asked so we had no wifi the whole stay.

Uncomfortable facade
A simple fix to the shower head would fix the black mold problem in the bathroom. Everything looked new and refurbished but the black mold under the peeling paint ruined my shower experience. No hand towels only bath and wash cloths. The bath towels were very thin but clean. Room had no black out anything and light came in all night through the closed blinds. Noise level was high coming from the freeway, st one point I could hear a big rig pop its tire. I did not feel very comfortable in the bed or in the covers. Not a fan of bare floors either. The kitchenette had nothing to use to cook food. No plates or cutlery to speak of. Not sure what the point is of having a kitchenette.

It’s a gamble
Hotel itself and booking agency cannot and will not communicate. I was hoping to leave a day early due to personal reasons and not really liking my room /bed. I won’t be refunded partially due to both hotels.com and hotel itself. Both parties state it’s the other company’s fault so I lost a bit of money.
