Good location and price
Great last minute getaway for our family of 4! Awesome location just a half hour away from our ski mountain. Also got a great deal (under $100 for a hotel in the mountains). For the price & location, we were very happy with our experience! Room is outdated with very thin walls (could hear neighbor's TV too clearly) and breakfast was a little limited (no fresh fruit, lots of pre-packaged stuff except for waffle maker). Front staff was friendly though and room maintained good temp throughout the night. Very content with our stay!

Rude Guests with Dogs
The management needs to reevaluate or do a better job of enforcing its pet-friendly policies. I don't have a problem with people traveling with their pets, but when they are not capable of controlling their pets it does affect other guests. The room adjacent to us had dogs barking constantly late into the night. I called the front desk and asked them to address the issue; which did seem to work initially, but within a few hours we were awakened by loud barking again and speaking with other guests at breakfast it sounded like I was not the only one complaining. If that is the case, I wish the dog owners would have been asked to leave. Either way, we did not get much sleep because of the unnecessary noise. This hotel is a great location to base a ski or hiking trip to avoid some of the traffic on 70 and the staff is very friendly. It's a shame we had a regrettable stay because other guests were allowed to be rude and inconsiderate.

Good Enough for the Price...
It was fine. It was just a stop on the way to the mountains for skiing because we arrived late in Denver. You get what you pay for. PROS: 1) Cheapest available option in the area for the night we needed. 2) Easy on and off highway access 3) Better than expected continental breakfast. CONS: 1) Room was dated 2) One bed did not have a flat top sheet 3) Carpets were worn and stained 4) Ceiling fan did not work right. It did the job. If we needed similar lodging for a similar reason in the same area again, we would book it if it was still the cheapest option.

I’ve stayed at the Georgetown Mountain Lodge a few times solo as well as with a large group. Rooms are nice and well maintained. Lots of tv options to stream/cable. Staff is excellent. Nice central location in the mountains and easy access to I70

Cute getaway from the city
Stayed at this lodge after seeing it from the road last year. It was cozy. Definitely dated. One of our rooms, the door wouldn’t stay closed. But the staff were friendly.
