Good service and location
The location is very good. The hotel is old, the room is small but clean and tidy. The first night when we boiled water, the fuse got wrong and we couldn’t charge anything, that night is inconvenient because we couldn’t find any staff to help. It’s good that in the morning, the staff Mr Farcuque Rashid come to help, he changed the kettle, but still not solved the problem, he tried his best to help us, we appreciated his efforts. Breakfast is good, they cook good and service is good also. A nice place to stay.

Great Breakfast!
Great stay for a weekend trip. The morning breakfast was superb, you will not walk away with an empty stomach! The hotel is situated a mere 10 minute walk from Euston Station, and the bed was very comfy! One negative was that the shower dial/indicators had warn away so was difficult to understand how to get it to work. However after some perseverance, we worked it out, and the temperature and pressure was great. Fully recommend!

Quite central, but very average
I didn't have ID which was a problem, but I’ve never been asked for ID in a UK hotel before. The room was really unhealthily hot and despite keep turning thermostat down the room stayed at 24 d3grees which was unbearable to sleep 8n.

Excess ambient noise in room
The price point is low cost and the room was basic but clean however I have to score lowly as the en suite extraction fan ran ALL night at a level that meant I struggled to sleep. Possibly personal to me but the core function is a bed to sleep in, and I couldn’t!

Charming, but beds and bedding too old for me.
The feel of the hotel is perfectly fitting for it being a converted Georgian home. We loved the location close to Euston station and buses to anywhere in the city. There were also plenty of food options nearby, and the included breakfast was a decent full English. The room was on the small side which we expected but the bathroom was so tiny. The door hit the sink, which was directly in front of the toilet so by centimeters, and you had to turn the shower head to avoid the shower door. Water was nice and hot though! The beds were the biggest disappointment. They were terribly hard and felt like box springs from 70's rather than a mattress, and the pillows were stiff rectangles of unknown material that were on the thin side so you had to stack them. We liked the experience but would not book here again.
