Weekend Away.
We stayed in room 305 which was at the top of the hotel. No lift, 3 flights of stairs...so if mobilly impaired then ask for a lower level. The bathroom was tiny and the door did not close , as not fitted correctly. The room was warm, there was no air con but the window opened as that was fine. It was clean and pretty comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the continental breakfast was good. It was however, perfectly situated for where we wanted to be. Pretty quiet at night. Lovely Italian restaurant and wine bar around the corner from the hotel.

Poor Hotel
Uneasy to check in, the system is asking for reservation number sent in email address, however, there's no reservation number instead an itinerary number. Therefore, I entered this number, however, it's not bring recognised by the system. On positive note, the staff is accommodating. The room has no enough space to move around, although I booked for a room good for one, I was not expecting that the size of my room is like a prison. The bedside table is not clean, very dusty. I believe they forgot to clean it. Or maybe, I'm expecting too much hence I checked in very late, before 12midnight. The ceiling is not well managed. The sink is too small where my hands are constantly touched the faucet when washing. There's no enough space in between the toilet bowl and the sink, I must sit on the toilet slightly different. The bed is not the usual single bed but the size is like a trolley in Emergency Room or Theatre where there's no space for you to move or reposition. I'm too tired and I don't want to stress myself therefore, I didn't ask for a replacement of my room. My goal is just to sleep hence I need to wake up early to attend the conference, which is the reason I visited London.

Precisa melhorar
A região é boa, mas exige uns 25 minutos andando para lugares centrais de Londres, como o Big Ben. Tem mercado por perto e o metrô também é perto. Mas a cama é pequena para duas pessoas, de forma que fica difícil se acomodar e dormir. O quarto é pequeno e não tem lugar para colocar as malas, a não ser no chão. Fica tudo apertado. O banheiro não tem boa vazão para descer a água do chuveiro e corre o risco de transbordar se você abrir a ducha inteira.

Prima verblijf qua locatie om alleen te slapen
Het hotel lag op loopafstand van de metro (3 haltes van St. PANCRAS kings Cross) ideaal, ook op loopafstand van Covent Garden en binnen een half uurtje wandelen bij London Eye. Inchecken ging prima met aardige vent die ons hielp. Ze hebben 24 uurs bezetting, dus dat is fijn. We hadden 2 kamers die tegenover elkaar lagen. Staat van binnenzijde hotel was matig. Met wat simpele aanpassingen en een likje verf zou het er schoner en beter uit zien. Regendouche was heerlijk in een krappe badkamer. Bed lag prima, alleen de kussens waren net zo dik als een pakje servetten. Ontbijt was in de kelder. Sober, maar als je op zoek bent naar een uitgebreid ontbijt als goede start van de dag omdat je veel wandelt, dan moet je hier niet zijn. Geen gebakken eitje, als de gekookte eieren op zijn, dan heb je pech. Geen broodjes. Gewone boterhammen die heerlijk smaken als ze in het broodrooster hebben gezeten. Koffie is er wel uit een filter, maar wordt pas bij gezet als de pot (bijna) leeg is. Eerste w ochtenden ook geen croissant te vinden waar ik wel op hoopte (luxe probleem, ik weet het). Vlak bij de metro is ook een supermarkt (Tesco). Je kunt alleen niks koud houden op de kamer omdat er geen koelkast is. Er staan 2 mini prullenbakken (die zo vol zijn met afval van de dag), geen probleem, maar wel handig om te weten. Hotel en hotelkamer kun je makkelijk betreden met een pasje. Prima voor een keer, maar de volgende keer zoeken we iets anders.

Triple room on first floor
Bit tight for space for 3 adults but adequate. Kettle coffee etc. but really tiny cups. Fan was handy although the window did open fully which is unusual. Shower ok. Toiletries provided. Free safe in wardrobe Complimentary breakfast good. Cereals toast juice pastries , replenished ifren. room was only small with 6 tables but nice.
