Broken toilet seat.
The room was nice, I was worried that with the toilet seat broken that the room might not be as clean as I would hope it would be. If your housekeeping cleaned the room and bathroom, why didn't they notice that the toilet lip was broken? so it leaves me unsettled about the cleanness. Grated your staff at the desk, came to fix it right away, that was nice.

Staff were nice and were helpful in a early check in and late check out.! The room was actually really nice. Hallway smelled like wet dog, and elevator seems like might need a new fan or something, but overall a good stay. Prices are okay.

Average for the price. Smoke detector off the the wall with the wires hanging out. Whole second floor hallway smelled like stinky feet. Room smelled strong of old cigarette smoke. Pool was alright but water seemed kind of dirty. Pool but no hottub but it is a super 8 so I was surprised that it had a pool. Lastly, the big reason for the 2 star rating is the fact that there was a cockroach on the wall in the room. We always check for bedbugs and there was old spotted pattern blood stains indicative of them being there before but didn’t see any active ones when we checked. But the cockroach is enough for me. I’ve never experienced that and I am someone who hates bugs of any sort ESPECIALLY a cockroach in a room and one that I have to sleep in. Maybe it’s because it’s an older building. I didn’t expect a holiday inn obviously as I booked this room for the lower price due to getting in late but still shouldn’t have roaches. The price was decent for an average hotel which I travel often and have stayed in lower tier hotels and motels and never experienced this. Overall, if you’re looking for a quick stay just to sleep and don’t mind the possibility of a roach in your room or bedbugs (I know even expensive hotels get them due to the constant travelers), then it’s not a bad price.

Pool was cloudy, chlorine level was such that just sitting in the area burned your eyes. Bathroom door handle was broken, and toilet bowl and seat bolts were so loose that the toilet moved when you were on them.

No room cleaning or new towels on a 4 day stay, asked the front desk and they said they only do room cleaning 2 days a week you have to request it any other time.

Buyer Beware. Bad Hotel
When I arrived, both the toilet seat cover and the seat came off and fell on the floor. Then I noticed the tv remote worked not work. After complaining, I asked the manager if they cleaned the toilets. He said yes. Then I asked how is that possible. Never an apology. I asked for another room. The TV has 49 channels. I love to watch Fox News. It was the only channel they had scrambled from their office. Every other channel was fine but had random bad reception. Then when you took a shower in the shower bath combo, it would fill up with about 2" of water and never drain until finished. Then they were supposed to clean the rooms daily. Out of 6 nights they did it twice only. I used the stairway by my room. I am disabled and usually use the hand rails. The hand rails on both sides all the way down were really sticky, so I was grossed out using them. I've stayed at many hotels before, but I was not happy. Another thing, when I priced out the room for 6 nights, it gave me one price which should have been an every night price since I was shopping the best price. However, they had all different prices for different nights. They were not honest about it and I feel like they were bait and switching prices by only listing the cheapest. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. It's funny how all the owners drove Mercedes cars.
