Can't beat location!
Very clean, quiet, and comfortable even during construction/renovation. Heard no noise and was able to still enjoy pool/hot tub/sauna. Liked the special events going on throughout the week also. Enjoyed the sky lounge for sunsets every night of our stay

Very scammy, has all types of regulations that they do not share when booking. Then they constantly are trying to get you to buy in on timeshares. I would avoid.

Nice place and area.
Could not get early check-in. Nice area and just across to the beach. Friendly stuffs and clean room. Everything is great except after checking-in. We were told to go to another desk where we got our bracelet key card who also tried to schedule us for what I believe is for timeshare sales. If the lady wasn’t nice I would have left right away. We lost a good 15 minutes or so from that talk. Seems like it’s a timeshare place and not a hotel with the feel of a hotel. I still would recommend the place. I just hope they give an option of skipping going to the next desk for sales.

Celebrating my 40th birthday woth my husband and 2 sons (2 month old and a 14 year old). Was disappointed upon arrival because I was informed thst I was downgraded due to an error with third party booking company. This meant, instead of the bedroom suite, we were all sharing a single room! The staff was so pleasant and sincerely sorry for inconvenience. They provided a few little perks and upgraded my room on the final night of our stay to a beautiful2 bedroom, ocean front suite. Was a great surprise and much appreciated. I honestly would have been much more upset if the staff at the front desk hadn't been so pleasant. Thank you for making sure, what could have been a disaster, was a great experience! We will definitely be back.

Everything about the property was great. The rooms were a good size. Location was perfect for walking or driving. The Amtrak train was one block away, but it was quiet. We walked to the Amtrak train and went to San Diego for the day. The Steakhouse 333 was delicious. There is no free parking. Street parking is metered parking. Even handicapped ♿️ has to pay at the meters.We drove from L.A. on a Thursday morning EARLY to avoid traffic so we could catch the Amtrak. We arrived at the hotel about 7:30 a.m. The hotel had a room available and let us check in without an additional charge. That was awesome. There were other family members that stayed at the hotel. We reserved a banquet room and had food and drinks. The room was reserved for 5 hours and we truly enjoyed it. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

5 times. Thats how many times they called and wanted me to do their 90 min "tour' to sell timeshares. No means no. I've been going for 12 years now and the place is starting to get dated.

The noise of the property really is unnerving and they rope you into what is supposed to be a 90 min presentation that ends up being 2.5 hours. The room I booked was NOT the room I got. The shower was handicap accesible and broken. I could not take a shower because the shower head was too short. If I knew any of this I would not have booked the room. Very pushy salesmen and the staff would not change my room. Probably will never go back.

We've been coming here for years and every year, check-in is painful. The front desk is great, then they send you to another desk for room key wristbands where they pitch you their timeshare spiel. Every year, we turn it down, but it feels like they are more persistent as time goes on. Then they send you to the valet to get your parking pass. This used to be at the 2nd desk, but changed this year, which no one told us, so we had to ask where to get the parking pass. Other than that process, this place is great...getting a little dated compared to other hotels nearby, but we still love it.

We loved that we could walk across the street to the Oceanside Pier, so much dining and night life options. The family loved the crafts, kids enjoyed making candy sushi. All around the 2 bedroom room was fully stocked, the hotel and property was great!! Would def recommend and stay again.

Loved the size of the rooms, views and staff. The key bands are innovative. There was no maid service, that's an issue to me. I am on vacation and want to return to a clean room. Need a Keuig or individual cup coffee maker.
