Not a good stay
Bathroom door falling apart and would not open far enough to make using the toilet comfortable. Room with all lights on very dark.

What an experience.
Checked into Baymont had to go to the bathroom due to long car drive. The person at the front desk replied it only for employees. So I proceeded to check in. Go to the room(209) went straight to the bathroom. What did I see. A roach in the tub. Went back and informed her what I seen. She relocated me to room 211( next door). Wife complained that the room smells like smoke. Went back downstairs, this time they gave me room 311. It wasn't the best. But we were tired. The lady at the front desk worked with us. No problems with the staff. Went downstairs in the morning for breakfast. And to my surprise there was no breakfast. Only coffee and tea served all day. The outside of the hotel looks nice. But the rooms need help.

The hotel is adequate, relatively clean, the only issue I really had was. This was the second hotel, and not the same chain, but once again, no remote in the hotel room and the front desk was unable to provide one. Thankfully, I had my tablet with me and use that instead.

Checked out shortly after seeing the room. Very small room and dissatisfied with cleanliness of the room, small bathroom and darkness of hotel all over. Hotel is run down.

Faintly smelled like stale cigarettes, the room didn't have a desk. The mattress sank down in the middle. There were greasy finger and handprints on the headboard. It was livable, but by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at.

We showed up a few hours early, as well drove all night, so we asked to check in early but no rooms were clean, so we checked into a different hotel. When we returned after normal check-in time, the front desk receptionist (different person) told me that I had two reservations and I would be charged for the one that I was not using, unless I figured it out with Expedia. Then she tried to charge the card I used to book the room (book now, pay later). It was declined, and I said I usually only use that card to hold it, because I typically get asked at the site if I would like to pay another way. She told me to put my card in, but didn't tell me how much it was. So I asked her, then she complained that she needed to cancel the transaction to tell me. When she was done, she asked if I was ready now. After getting checked in and grabbing all our stuff from the car, we went up to our room. The room had not been cleaned. The room had garbage, clothing, and other issues. I complained to reception, and she got us a new room immediately, which was clean. The rest of our stay was fine. However, this is the third stay we have had at this hotel with an issue of cleanliness each time (with complaints). We will no longer be staying there. I would expect that they would try to make it right like upgrade the room or something, but we were just given a new room.

Absolutely filthy. Mold all over the ceiling. Spiders on the ceiling over the bed. Sheets filthy. I saw 4 different rooms and all of them were nasty. Had to leave and find another hotel to stay in at 9pm.

Probably wouldn't stay again
Room smelled like fresh smoked cigarettes. Person at the desk just came in and sprayed her personal perfume in the room to "mask" the smell. Very disappointing.

The place was dingy, and the halls reeked of marijuana. The only staff I saw was 1 person at the desk, very distracted by their phone. The photo's make the renovations seem much more complete than they actually are. The light in the room would flicker because the electrical receptacle that it was plugged into did not have a good connection. Probably because of all of the rust around it. The plugs in the lamp were not working, so I had to move the nightstand, and plug my phone into the wall. Even this would flicker because of bad wiring. There were open ketchup packets and straw wrappers barely under the bed and noticeable from a standing position. It's the type of hotel that you don't feel comfortable walking around the rooms with your shoes off, or sleeping without a shirt and sweatpants.

The staff were accommodating and friendly. However, the room was lacking. First, the keyless door entry took several attempts to unlock. Once we got into the room, we were satisfied it was clean. We started to turn on the lights around the room and found very few. In fact, we had to dig around to find the power strip to turn on the touch lamp and clock next to the bed. The bathroom door was impossible to close and the exhaust fan in the bathroom was unbelievably LOUD. We will compliment the bed as very comfortable. But, sadly, we won't choose to stay here again and won't recommend it to our friends.
