The property itself is a little tired but everything is clean. The staff are pleasant. The towels are nice and soft, something that cannot be said for some hotels that have better facilities. Overall, I expect to come back. Hotel options are limited in October in Great Barrington.

This is a great old-school facility. Clean comfortable. Needs a little TLC. The windows are filthy and some of them are missing screens overall though I’ll come back here again and again great staff nice outdoor sitting area with party lights.

Unsanitary
Dead bugs in the ice machine, do not use! I didn't notice at first, but the rotting smell after the ice started melting got me to notice the bug pieces mixed in with the cubes ew. The HVAC unit had a musty smell too, no telling how long anything gets cleaned in this hotel. The beds seemed clean I guess, but would not stay here again.

The rooms were outdated. Stains on chairs. The office rang my room at 6 am twice while I was asleep. The first room I had the key didn't work. I had to move everything from that room to another room, which was nicer, but still not great. Too many lamps and chairs in the way of the rest of the furniture. I think they were doing their best, but they may have been overwhelmed.

I paid 99 dollars for a room in which there was no functioning shower, so I a really dirty appalachian thru hiker had to wash my body using the sink. I know it aint supposed to be the plaza but it would have been nice if the tv was the amenity, but that was never even set up.

Nice to stay in
Stayed here 3 different times in July and each room was a bit different. The cheaper I paid (AT Hiker Rate) the cheaper the room with harder bed and pillows plus smaller room. My final stay (reserved on Hotels.com) was wonderful with soft bed and pillows and plenty room. All showers were small but final room had a nice big tub. Pool out back was nice though leaves were needing to be cleaned out. Plenty restaurant options within walking distance including a grocery store. With smoking weed allowed in this state, several room with chairs out front had people smoking weed from time to time. All of them were workers from another country and kept to themselves.
