Truly a Garden of Eden Resort
Truly a Garden of Eden Resort. We liked how Compact the Resort was. Everything was easy to enjoy - Pools, Restaurant, Spa, secluded Rooms and a Private area overlooking the Beach. Just step through a private exit to walk on the Public beach. We enjoyed watching the Surfing - great medium size waves. The private grounds were in immaculate shape. Our Room was spacious and literally steps from the largest Pool. (Ask for a Room number in the forties) All this and yet right next to the town of Tamarindo with restaurants and nightlife. Thank you Kevin (beach bartender) and Alan and Deiner for the AWESOME Service especially at Breakfast and Dinner. We also enjoyed the privacy of the spa for our Swedish massages. Much better than on the public beach. We were happy with all of the menu options at both the buffet breakfast and the evening dinners - both included in our room rate. We will be back.

My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary here and were continually impressed with the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the facility, and the quality of the food. It was quiet and peaceful and perfectly located in the heart of the city. The beach garden across the street was a secret paradise, and the walkways were gorgeous. We enjoyed every moment of our stay! We will be back!

The hotel is lovely and well maintained. The staff are all truly wonderful and friendly. We've been to some places where the staff don't smile. Everyone here had genuine smiles. Our housekeeper Seily went above and beyond each day. She was awesome. The hotel has a really good buffet breakfast with different options each morning. Everything was fresh and delicious. We also received free dinner. Each day had 2 options for an appetizer, 2 options for an entree and 1 dessert. The food was so good, we only ate out one time for dinner. Eat at this hotel. There is a private walkway to the beach which was really nice as well. One of the highlights for us was seeing howler monkeys outside in the trees. Restaurants, shopping and activities were all within walking distance. Even though it was during the rainy season, this was a wonderful vacation. We would recommend booking activities before arriving. We would also recommend booking a romantic terrace room. Thank you to everyone at Jardin del Eden.

I liked the personal hot tubs. Kevin the outdoor mixologist was amazing! He's also my "New Best Friend" from Costa Rica! :-) The hotel did charge an additional $9 to my card, and I have no idea what it is/was for.

Check your bill before you leave the hotel! I was surprised to see several charges not covered in the final statement. Their staff are not genuinely nice and helpful. Other than that, the place is great and loved their food (breakfast and dinner).
