I recently stayed at Sonder Midtown South, and overall, I enjoyed my time there. The space had a homey feel with a full kitchen, comfortable living area, and a spacious walk-in closet—a nice departure from a standard hotel room. The balcony was a great bonus, and the location was perfect, walking distance to Midtown hotspots and Beltline neighborhoods.
However, there were a few downsides. The check-in process was frustratingly cumbersome for guests who didn’t download the Sonder app. It would be nice if they offered a traditional check-in option, like most hotels do. Also, there was no gym, which was a bit disappointing. Lastly, the stained carpets made the space feel less clean and well-maintained.
Overall, Sonder Midtown South is a solid choice for those wanting an apartment-style stay in a prime location, but there’s definitely room for improvement in cleanliness, amenities, and especially check-in convenience
