Lovely Staff at an aging property
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel wasn't as well kept as our previous stays but it wasn't dirty. Seems like additional cleaning and maintenance staff would be beneficial as the hotel is really starting to show it's age, which was very recognizable by the room to which we were assigned.
All of the wood furniture in the King Studio room we stayed was chip & gouged, the sofa cushions fell into the frame of the sofa bed, and the desk chair cushion was shredded. The bed linens were clean and the mattress and pillows comfortable.
The lobby and breakfast area were neat and the coffee bar was well stocked. Breakfast was fine for what it was with the exception of the inedible oatmeal (clumpy but watery) and dried out leftover, from the previous day, scones on our last morning.
The heated pool and hot tub were very clean and there was plenty of towels all three times we utilized these.
We have always loved this particular Hampton Inn and are hoping it will get the revitalization it deserves
