Couple Getaway
It was a nice hotel. The bed was comfortable and it was right across from the beach. There's no breakfast offered at the hotel, but there's place that offers breakfast and coffee nearby. The only problem was housekeeping didn't do a great job with a couple of small things. Overall it was a nice stay.

No Glam Just Comfort
My husband and always stay at Pelican. Love the convenience of the hotel and the sunsets are amazing. We try and book the patio rooms for a better view. Worth the extra money. However, the rooms are just OK. No frills. The beds and pillows are extra comfy. Rooms seem outdated and the bathrooms never seem to be cleaned enough! The front desk, Carmen, is always extra helpful and a sweetheart too.

Good Stay
We always have an enjoyable time at pelican Inn. They are always friendly and will help you with whatever you need help with. Clean. The only thing is they do not have a breakfast anymore. I think that is a big drawback. Also, they could hang rods next to the sink for hand towels to be placed instead of having to place them on the countertop.

Relax on the coast!
Always good to go back to Pelican Cove on beautiful Moonstone Beach. The room was great and can't beat the view!!!!! Service was excellent and we enjoyed the relaxation.

Loud. Nice spot. But just too loud.
So. Loud. You can hear everything happening in every room if you’re in the bottom rooms. Not to mention every single morning for 3 days they woke us up with the work/repairs happening on the property - even Sunday. The staff was very nice and tried to help but the building is just not set up if you’re looking for somewhere quiet.

Greeted by lovely Carmen who offered an early checkin. She was so friendly and accommodating. And Assistant GM couldn’t have been more accommodating, friendly and generously offered us to contact him for any need we may have. It set such a special note for our wonderful stay. We’ll be back.

Great stay; helpful staff: amazing view from our oceanfront room. The only drawback (and it’s small) is they couldn’t get the fireplace to work. Would have been great anbiance. Loved our stay.

Give this place a pass
As a frequent traveler to Cambria and Moonstone Beach, I found this hotel not to work at the price point. Other hotels have more to offer, and the rooms are updated. One of the selling points was the ocean view and private patio, but the chairs on the patio could have been more comfortable. The jet tub, which was also a selling point of the room, had mold around all the jets, and the tub was at least three different colors, which, if you're susceptible to infections or prone to sensitive skin, would leave you ill. The room did have a fabulous fireplace, which was amazing. It is the only room point that actually lived up to the hotel's description.

It was nice slightly outdated with cracks and holes in the walls and ceiling. Only complaint would honestly be the balcony wasn’t well maintained. When paying for a partial ocean view we weren’t able to enjoy it because our friendly neighborhood spider had overtook it. Outside of that the bed was cozy room was nice yet slightly outdated. Tv was good for the little we used it and water pressure was great. Overall 4/5 stars and would stay here again and either get a full ocean view or no view.

Ocean Front. Restaurants nearby. Needs updating but clean. Found roach under stained window seat cushion. Windows needed cleaning-mold. I know the mold is common on window sills in this area but it should be addressed. Employees always chatting or on phone and not working. Thats why check in at 4 PM
