I love staying here. I have stayed here over 10 times. It’s easily accessible, great place to stay if you are mountain biking and very friendly front desk staff. Place is getting a little run down but you can’t beat the price.

Great Place for a Mid-Week trip to Fruita
Comfortable bed, super clean room, and super friendly and helpful staff! We stayed here for a quick mountain bike trip and the Super 8 was the perfect location for us - easy access to the bike path, nearby restaurants, and highway. Definitely will stay here again!

I stayed here because of the great reviews - I have to say it was a bit let down. It wasn’t horrible but it was consistent with most super 8s I’ve stayed at - it was fine like a straight 5/6 out of 10. The heat / ac was dusty and felt dirty (no real filter for the air and literal dirt in there) the bed was ok not great … sheets and pillows felt clean and luckily that was my biggest requirement as I was there to sleep. Bathroom I’m not bad. Place had a smell. People seemed to be enjoying the pool and hot tub with their kids I didn’t … this place wasn’t exceptional as the reviews state. It was ok. If I could find a cheaper deal for motel 6 I’d probably go there.

Excellent stay. Very friendly stall from front desk to housekeepers. Room was perfect. They gave us 1st floor as we requested. It was spacious and very clean. They biker friendly. Loved our mini vacation in Fruita at the Super 8!

Traveling with pets, had to pay extra for them which was no problem. The problem had to do with the lengthy pet agreement. No pet poop bags in the pet area. Wasn't allowed to leave pets unattended. So going to dinner at a local restaurant was out of the question. The room had old nasty carpet and could smell the pet urine. Had to wear my shoes in the room at all times. The bed was hard and uncomfortably. The small table was rickety. The staff must have lived on site as they were in the stairwells, hanging out on the benches outside etc. And then theres the empty lot behind the place where some strange guy had his creepy old motorhome parked. I love Fruita and know it well. Staying here to save a few bucks and to believe its rating was better than Laquinta was a terrible decision.

I honestly chose this hotel based on the “Excellent” ratings from other reviews. But I was disappointed when we stayed here. It might just be the room that was given us but I hope the management should give attention to honest reviews and takes the needed action for the improvement of the property. The room (we were on the first floor) looks old- the carpet looks old and dirty, the bed sags and was not comfortable, it felt old. And so were the pillows. The bathroom needs a makeover- there’s no countertop- nowhere to put our toiletries, nor our clothes when we take a shower. There was one small glass shelf next to the lavatory with a sample sachet of makeup remover, a travel pack of tissue and tiny hotel soap. The microwave oven was on top of the mini fridge. The a/c fan makes a loud noise we thought somebody was scratching the wall from the outside.It was hard to fall asleep. I hope they will fix these soon. We used to stay at Super 8 before but it’s not the same anymore.
