I was very disappointed. The lazy river & south pool was shut down. They notified us of this the day after I could no longer cancel and get a refund. The lazy river is one of the reasons we go here. We have been going here for 14 years, sometimes twice a year. We have never gone to one of there sales pitches to buy a condo. I told them we weren't interested the day we checked in. They called us twice after that to try to get us to go. No means No! There was the largest pile of pigeon droppings on our deck. I would say it hadn't been cleaned in months. We had mildly warm water until Thanksgiving then cold water until they came to fix it. I told the front desk all of this and never heard from a manager.

There was no where to sit on the beach. The water came all the way up to the seawall. No sandcastles were possible. It would have been nice to know that the lazy river was out of order and under repair. The water temperature was only lukewarm at best. Management changed us to another room and it had the same issue. The beds were very nice. Both units were showing wear and tear. We did not use the kitchen so cant comment on it.

Overall pleasant
Overall our stay was pleasant. Our condo was very nice. Indoor pools were not heated enough. Was expecting a bit hotter pools in general. The waterslide, lazy river and 2nd oudoor pool is under construction, we werent made aware of this at time of booking online, which was one of our main reasons we wanted to stay there. So that was a huge disappointment. My 2 sons under 18 are gym fanatics and we were excited to see that they had a fully equipped gym. On our walk through the hotel to look at everything available and find our way. We found out quickly that no under 18s are allowed to use it. We walked into the gym, to look at everything, didnt touch a single thing and was rudely greeted by a security guard that walked in, he asked my boys 'are you over 18?', they said 'no, sir' and he said 'well your not allowed in here, Get out!' He could have handled it a bit more professional imo. Talked to us like we were dirt, not a hello, no people skills. Besides all of this, the condo was really nice. I felt a little harassed with phone calls of agents trying to sign me up for time share etc. We would have actually considered it if everything was available to use.

Dirty vacation rental
I did not know that when you book through hotels. Com that you are booking someone's private vacation rental. I was thinking it was through the Wyndham resort. I found that out AFTER i went to the front desk to complain about the amount of roaches I kept seeing in my room, sheets and bathroom. Apparently the private owners dont clean. Maybe if that can be made clear on hotels.com website of what you are booking because I wouldnt have had I known it would be that dirty.

Unpleasant stay
Outside under heavy construction. Condo above us hammering on floor day & half the night. Very uncomfortable furniture in our condo- couch was terrible, no table & chairs to sit at to eat. Dirty deck & furniture. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Would not recommend.

This was a sister trip and our first time to Daytona. We really enjoyed the resort, very well kept and employees were wonderful. The only complaint we had at all was the fact we booked through Expedia.Com and they did not mention we would be required to pay a resort fee when checking in. We thought we had paid for everything online at Expedia. Other than that we have no complaints. We would definitely come back.

Me gustó mucho la vista que tiene desde el balcón, un amanecer muy lindo, tiene una cocina muy cómoda y limpia, no me gustó que cuando entré había un olor muy desagradable, tuve k echar olores para que se fuera el mal olor, en el balcón estaba sucia la pared y manchada, yo pienso seguir visitando ese hotel porque me agradó mucho, tiene muchas comodidades me gustaría ver próximo año cuando voy lo visite k esté más limpio.

This is a great property and very convenient to the Boardwalk and gift shops. Just be aware that it is a time share type place and they require you to sit through a 60 minute presentation and sales pitch for their program.

We stayed in room 408. It was not a quiet room. You can hear any bands that are playing next door. You can also hear the people above you walking around. The bathtub is very slippery and could use some safety bars. We enjoyed the swimming pools.

Not a good room
Getting a room with a dirty toilet was not good, poop stains in it. Who knows how clean this room really was, the handle to the slider door is about to come off, cabinets by roman tub need replacement, damaged and coming apart, lets face it, this room is old, plus stains on the walls. No photo of dirty toilet, couldnt do that.

The apartment was filthy. Food spattered on side of refrigerator, the living room furniture was old and dingy, there was only one set of towels, the the bathroom tub was old and had holes that were caulked, there were holes in the walls in the bedroom, the tv had one channel, the patio was filthy, there was no screen on the patio door to let in the ocean sounds with penguins coming in.
