Great location!
We had a great stay! The location was great for a couple reasons. It was an easy on and off Interstate 10 and across the street from the lake. There is a paved path along the lake which made both a great evening and morning walk. The breakfast was just mediocre.

Clean rooms, problematic smells.
This hotel has renovated rooms, which were very clean, and I appreciated that the windows could open. The hallways and the elevator smell truly awful, but luckily the rooms don’t have the same smell. They’ve made nice looking bathrooms but the shower has such bad water pressure that it’s hard to rinse shampoo off. All this said, it’s not an expensive hotel, but I can’t help but wonder if all the excellent reviews on T.A. might not be from actual guests (they are mostly from people where it’s their only review), so beware.

Confused
The room had recently been remodeled… by the lowest bidder. Floors were not clean, molding was not finished, paint on door and molding, the space by the air conditioning unit wasn’t even complete by the wall. The layout of the room was confusing and odd. The vanity was at the foot of the bed… giving no privacy. The center or the room was split with a half wall… leaving the tv blocked and not able to be turned toward the bed. I will say the bed was comfy but I won’t be back.

Just For A Night
The hotel was in a great location, our room was clean, it was quiet, the lobby was clean and the front desk. staff was amazing. Savannah was super friendly and super helpful. My biggest complaint about the room was the layout and the lack of accessories. There was not one single picture/painting on the wall, which made it not “homey”. There were no towel bars to hang up a wet towel and the location of the TV was not at all aligned with being able to watch TV in the comfort of a bed. I would stay here again!!

Excellent for the price
Excellent for the price. We stop there driving from Fl to Tx. Two good beds at the bedroom and a hall with a desk, a sofa, small refri, microwave and coffee maker. Breakfast included, nothing special but was ok. The hotel also has a small gym. I warmed up there before going to run around the lake (treadmill needs maintenance, I reported). It also has an indoor pool. I didn’t go there, so I cannot evalue it

Great Place to Relax
The Hotel was very convenient to everywhere we were trying to visit and the view was great to me. We had a small issue and the front desk guy fixed it immediately and we were pleased with everything after that.

Lovely Hotel, Very Clean Rooms
This has got to be the best location in Lake Charles for a hotel. The other Lake Charles Hotels are far from downtown. Staff was good, very inviting, hotel rooms was very clean.

eh not terrible
the lobby and hallway smelled funny. i’m not sure how to describe it but it was old and mildew? but masked with fresh linen smell. the room was fine. nothing special. not dirty but definitely not something to brag about.
