Ho hum, maybe
Well, it is the only place to stay in town. It is under new management, and I hope they can improve on it. We stayed there twice, because Lake Village is halfway between our home and Gulf Shores, Alabama. The first time, we had to wait forever just to get checked in. The room was fine, but I actually had to wake the manager up on the morning just to get some plates out of the "breakfast room." The second time was a better check in, but they had had asprinkler leak, and the dpwnstairs (where i guess the better rooms were) was uninh itable, so we got a room on the secons floor. It was disgusting, and we asked for another room, which the manger that day kindly offered. The second room was better, but (and i wish i hat taken pictures) The two chairs were on their last legs, with damaged upholstery. So, really, the best part of the stay was that it was right next door to a McDonalds, and we could get great coffee at 6 AM.

Had ongoing issues with television and room phone. Upstairs smelled like there was water damage. Hotle is under new management and is undergoing renovations. Hopefully the renovations are adequate

While hotel is under new management and undergoing renovations,hotel has no elevator, tvs are often not working. 2nd floor has "water damaged " smell. Light over sink did not work at all

Thank you for being there for us.
We have stayed here the last couple of years in our yearly travels. It is 1/2 to our destination and have learned that the service is always very pleasant. Staff is friendly, efficient, helpful and all around an extra plus, especially the night clerk. She was awesome! Keep up the good work.

I used to stay here on a regular basis then something happened and it wasn't a good, clean place anymore. It's been years but this place has really been cleaned up! The front desk woman was so nice and friendly. The room looks freshly remodeled. The bed is comfortable and there's a big, comfy recliner. I'll come here, again.

The picture of our room had an overstuffed chair. My wife has a spinal disease. She is in a wheelchair and can’t sleep laying down. When I saw the picture of our room, I knew that she could sleep in that room (which we actually paid more for). When we got to our room, that chair was not there. I went to the front desk to explain to them about the overstuffed chair, they said it must have been damaged. They said they could give us a refund. But after 10 hours of driving, the last thing I wanted to do was find another motel. My wife had to sleep in her wheelchair. It was a terrible night. The breakfast that they offered was toast, cereal or frozen waffles. However, the staff and cleaning people were really friendly.

Found bedbugs in room, the manager only offered to switch the room. I was told that I had to speak with Expedia since it was third party. I contacted Expedia and the guy contacted the manager and he was told that the hotel wasn’t reimbursing anything. I had four rooms total.

They are in the process of making improvements to the property. Our room had new granite tile walls in the shower but could use a shower head update. The sink had a nice, new, granite counter. The room and halls had new carpet but could use vacuuming. Breakfast was weak.
