Outstanding Staff. Immaculate
This review is based on the visit during the tragic events of Hurricane Helene. I can not compliment the staff enough on their professionalism and caring nature. GM Rufus and his talented and dedicated team did a spectacular job keeping us accommodated and comfortable all with the fact that there was no electricity and water. Amazing and caring staff from top to bottom. Great people. They consistently checked on us and asked if we needed anything and went to the major extreme to do as much as humanly possible. I was shocked to see everyone not only show up for work at all, but to be dedicated to their job all while they were suffering personally. The building is immaculate, the breakfast was larger with more variety than most, and that’s including during the crisis. If I could give 10 stars I would. Next visit to Asheville, I know where I’m staying. Bless you all and you are in our prayers.

All was great. Only one suggestion, the room need a new chair! It was the only drawback of the room. It is very worn, old and a bit dirty. Otherwise it is a really clean, good breakfast, easy, walkable area. I would stay again.

When I did a pre-checkin I was offered an upgrade to a room with a jetted tub for an additional $30/night, and I accepted it. If the jetted tub had been more usable the upgrade might have been worth it. But the tub filled extremely slowly, taking 15 minutes for the water to cover the jets, and only 4 of the 7 jets actually worked.
