This odor started at the front door and persisted throughout the lobby, elevator, hallway and guest room. When I complained, the agent immediately offered to cancel my non-refundable reservation, even after check in, so we knew that something was indeed going on there. Clean up will be a big deal and time consuming. I won't be back there anytime soon.

Poor experience would not stay again.
It all started like this: They wanted to charge us $50 for checking in a few hours early when they had clean rooms available. Apparently service doesn’t matter any longer at Hilton. I have never been asked that question before.
The following morning I asked if we could get our room cleaned. I was told it would be done by 4:00pm. As it drew closer to 4:00pm I asked one more time and was told it would certainly be cleaned. We then left for the evening and of course when we got back to our room late that night it was never cleaned. Beyond frustrating. They finally brought us clean towels after 10:00pm.
