2nd year in a row we stayed here. Lots of great restaurants near by. Tuckermans tavern right down the street is amazing! And Ledge brewing is right there too with great beers!! Staff at hotel is friendly and helpful.

Basement room unpleasant odor
Affordable, decent breakfast, beds are comfy and room was spacious. We've stayed here before and the room was nice, I believe it had a wood-look tile floor throughout. This time we were in a basement level room under the main office and the odor was unpleasant, like stale smoke maybe. Both my wife and I woke with allergy issues due to it, every time we left and came back to the room it was overpowering and unpleasant. The communal spaces and bathroom smelled clean of strong disinfectant.

Unfortunately, due to the snow storm, it was better to keep going rather than break up the trip. BUT….having stayed here before I knew it would be good. It’s why I rebooked it. They even called to organize the check in ahead of time.

The little Swiss cottage stayed buildings that house the rooms are charming in an old-school North Conway area kind of way. Rooms are a little dated but clean and comfortable. The mountain view is beautiful. Staff is friendly. Great place for the price!

Great value but noisy floors and slow wifi
We loved the location, which was very convenient for our trip while also being quiet and relaxing. The room was very comfortable as was the bed. We found the laundry facilities very affordable and the staff was very kind. Breakfast options were the same each day but offered enough variety to not get too tired of it. Our room was on the first floor and we felt like the ceiling wasn’t insulated enough (the people upstairs seemed to make a lot of noise just walking around), so bear that in mind if you’re a sensitive sleeper. Also, we had a lot of problems with the internet, even for checking social media, so beware if you need to work.

This is my fourth trip staying at this property, the gentleman at the desk was welcoming. Very accommodating as in midst of a winters storm on Thanksgiving Day and allowed 3 hour early checkin. These are the reasons we keep returning - customer service, cleanliness, attractive grounds and close proximity to shopping. Thank you!
