Expensive Dive Hotel.
The room smelled like bleach when we arrived. It faded after the first night. The beds were tiny, not what most hotels call a double. The tv turned on but there were no stations to watch-no signal. We told the front desk about the issue and they said someone would come fix it, no one did. We also asked for more towels and never received them. Not a hotel I’ll return to, but also not the worst hotel either.

Steer Clear!
As mentioned in several other reviews, this property is nothing like the photos online. While I understand that the Baymont isn't exactly the Ritz-Carlton, I expect a minimum of cleanliness and security. I liked that the floors are hard surfaces and the rooms didn't have the faint cigarette smell that most lower-end places do. We were there with a group occupying several rooms. In one room, the tub faucet was leaking, a steady stream. The fan for the HVAC drowned it out, so that wasn't the end of the world. What pushed us over the edge was that in one ground level room, the patio door handle was broken off, and there was no way to secure the door and prevent someone from coming in. The fact that the hotel would rent a room in this condition is absolutely unacceptable, and we could only assume how low their standards were for everything else, so we left. While leaving they had a tow company going through the lot towing cars that didn't have their parking pass on the dash. The lot was probably 3/4 empty, this is a pure money grab for those who forget to put it on the dash.

DISGUSTING
The drive into parking lot made me cringe as they need alot of TLC and more. Person at front desk was pleasant but definitely needed a shower. Took stairs to 2nd floor and already place is filthy with garbage all over. Enter the room and floor is sticky with every dresser nights stand filthy on top. It never even was attepted to be cleaned. Immediately left and went to front desk as there was KNOW WAY I was staying at this dump!!!! Person at desk apologized and offered another room and told him the fact he gave me the other room showed me what kind of place it was. My deposit was returned and will work on hotels.com for full refund. I will be contacting Wyndham also . Of course this wont let me add photos !!!! 😡

Beware!
This was one of the worst experiences we have ever had. Late night checkin only to find the next morning that there was cat hair everywhere, incomplete renovation, painters tape everywhere, exposed outlets, and tub was so dirty we didn’t even use it. No help from front desk to make things right. Complete waste of money. Front desk said they would help by making sure our security deposit got returned!! Ha. What a joke. You were gonna return it anyways.

They gave us a room that had no lights except by the bed. No lights in the bathroom worked. We had to shower in the dark. There were holes in the walls. No phone to call front desk and complain. Luckily we were only there for the night.

As a single female traveler the room I stayed in was towards the back of the hotel which during day time was fine. When I returned to the hotel at 11 p.m. the area where I would need to park was rather dark which can be concerning. It looked like the hotel was still undergoing renovations/modernizations, however the room was spacious, beds comfortable and bathroom functional. Would have been nice to have a 2nd trash can in main room near microwave or fridge. Some hangers in the closet would have been useful too. Staff were amazing. Breakfast was nice with a good choice of food.

Not happy
Place is in disrepair and not very clean. Breakfast had broken waffle machine. Room and bathroom had poor lighting. Sliding glass door very difficult to lock. I can go on but you get the idea.

I have to post something because íts not fair when we are deceived intentionally or unintentionall yhat we were persuaded gave 3 starbecauI did not receive correct info regarding deposit info as well as the online acct rewards site...Expedia! Expedia is another review which I will eventually post on their site I want to help as many as I can be prepared when traveling, and expecting one thing, but receiving another...will be reposting more info about this to help people be prepared when traveling...I am now happy to call Daytona Beach, my new Home! *** For traverls out of state, can you imagine that you book a hotel on vacay, some 1500 miles away from the comfort of your home, u dont know anyone, u dont the area, and now you find urself in a situation without the correct information such as; deposit info, or even documentation such as a Lic or Id. To have the check-in go south because people who supply customer service info to guests don't really care or even know what they talking about...and just want to say, Next please! after a long flight or drive, ur tired , ur hungry, and now you have no bed to sleep in, and you are in sleeping in the rental for the night.,.or a shower to feel refreshed again a included free continental breakfast that was the main reason would book with but now dont exist, after u book and pay upfront on a site where your supposed to a gold, or platinum member unle

Property in need of a lot of repairs. Sliding glass door wouldn’t shut all the way. No chair in the room, asked for one at the front desk, it was never delivered. Hotel doesn’t have any hangers. Breakfast very limited.
