A tranquil paradise in Hollywood
It's a tranquil hotel with a swimming pool near the busy Hollywood highland area, closed to the metro station and TCL Museum. The room is lovely clean and spacious. There are soft drink machine and ice cream machine for free, I really love it. People there are very helpful. I will definitely stay there again next time in LA.

Magic Castle Hotel is amazing!
The Magic Castle Hotel is an awesome place to stay if you are visiting Universal Studios or the Hollywood area. Staff provide some of the most exceptional customer service I have ever experienced, the rooms were big and comfortable and the hotel provided a ton of great amenities. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and love every second of it as I did on this trip. A sincere thank you to all of the staff for making our family trip so much better!

Best Hotel Ever
We absolutely loved it here. It was a true respite while visiting LA. The kids agreed is the best place they've ever stayed. The complimentary items were a hit with all of us. And, the staff made the stay so pleasant. We may come back to LA just to stay and relax at the Magic Castle Hotel.

Older building with great service
Someone commented that the outside looks like a crack house. I can’t disagree. They really should do something to make the outside look more inviting. They make up for it though with their friendly service and freebies. Soft serve ice cream, popsicle hot line, candy, snacks and the continental breakfast. Room was big and clean. Just old. We would have stayed there again but they had really raised their price for the next time we were coming for a concert. The only bummer was that I realized shortly after we left that I had forgot my swim suit hanging on the shower rod. It never made it to the lost and found.

Five Star Staff
What makes this hotel five star is undoubtedly the staff. They couldn't do enough to help and always with a smile. I was especially grateful to the reception staff. Although I arrived safely at LA Airport, my 2 suitcases did not, and the info given to me at the airport would not give me access to trace them. The staff made phone calls for me and thankfully they turned up 24 hours later just in time for me to get my taxi to my cruise ship. Without my suitcases I would have had to return home. Another great thing about this hotel is the free snacks available 24 hours and ice cream available all day from 10.00am. The included continental breakfast was plentiful. Although my room did not have a balcony (I was only staying 2 nights) there were plenty of rooms that did. The swimming pool is open 24 hours and was being much enjoyed by children and adults. I would certainly use it again if I was staying in LA

Little gem of a hotel, one block from The Hollywood Walk of Fame, shops and restaurants! Huge "apartment", clean and well equipped! Staff were friendly and the free snacks and laundry service were amazing!

Absolutely outstanding service!
As always the service at The Magic Castle Hotel surpassed anything experienced anywhere in the world! The location is an added bonus, and having access to the amazing club next door makes it next level. I will never stay anywhere else now unless they're booked solid!

We absolutely loved staying at Magic Castle. The complimentary snacks, soda and ice cream was a great treat. One bedroom was large and comfortable and the pool clean and heated. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Séjour de 3 nuits famille de 5 personnes (2 adultes et 3 adolescents). Séjour excellent !! Nous avons adoré le Magic Castle! Tout était parfait: personnel adorable et aux petits soins, boissons sans alcool/glaces/snacking à volonté, magnifique lieu style vintage année 80, piscine top car chaude et profonde à certains endroits avec jeux: le paradis des enfants et des parents ! Appartement parfait avec vraie cuisine et terrasse vue piscine, petit déjeuner inclus, nettoyage linge gratuit et enfin à 5mn d'Hollywood Boulevard et 15 mn du Griffiths Observatory...à noter juste parking souterrain payant. Un vrai cocon nous avons déjà prevue de revenir tellement nous avons adoré le lieu! Un grand merci à toute l'equipe du Magic Castle!

Hotel de charme avec personnel aux petits soins. Les chambres auraient vraiment besoin d'un rafraîchissement, ainsi que d'une cuisine équipée pour y manger. Mais le cadre et le personnel compense ces désavantages. Un véritable petit paradis au cœur de L.A Seul mauvaise note, une facture finale impossible à obtenir pour comprendre les frais retenus en fin de séjour une fois rentrée dans notre pays.

Our stay at the Magic Castle was perfect. We were greeted with incredibly friendly staff and champagne upon arrival. They asked about our plans, which included a show at the Hollywood Bowl and they informed us that we could walk to it. Such a great tip as we were prepared to take the shuttle. It saved us so much hassle. The room was clean and spacious. Property is walkable to many restaurants, bars and sites. Would definitely recommend and stay again in the future!
