Winter stay
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The heater didn’t run great. Was either on or off and didn’t get that warm. The shower didn’t have very warm water. Bathroom sink did, but shower was luke warm.

Not a pleasant property
Beds were too high for a small dog to jump up to and were not comfortable. The desk chair provided was a $20 mesh Walmart special. Cable kept cutting out. Bathroom exhaust fan was loud but not as loud as the toilet running after you flushed it. The front desk worker was not a pleasant person. He was very rude, both arriving and check out.

Could be better
Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Only lock on the door that worked from the inside was the latch above the door lock. Door didn't line up so there was a space between the door and the frame. Individual who checked me in and out was very impersonable. Customer service appeared to not be his forte. No one was at the front desk when I was going to check out so I used the phone as stated in the desk. He answered "I'll be there" or "I'm coming" - did not say hello and extremely difficult to understand. Asked what time breakfast was served and he answered curtly "6 to 9".

I was in town with my fiancé so I could graduate from STC. It went fine we brought our dog and the hotel is listed at pet friendly. Well my fiancé drops me off at the convention center for my graduation rehearsal and I get two missed calls from the hotel reception. My fiancé calls back and he yells at him telling us we can’t leave our dog alone anymore because he was barking. We understand that it can be annoying but the way the receptionist called and yelled at my fiancé was rude and uncalled for. Our dog is on anxiety meds and they take awhile to kick in and we did apologize but the interaction make us feel unwelcome. We understand that we have responsibilities for our pet but there was no reason to yell and act like that towards us.
