Corner room was the best
The ocean views and balconies from room 415 (corner room) were amazing. I slept with the door open to hear the sounds of the waves which was very relaxing. Being a corner room provided 2 balconies and the living area was separate from the bedroom which was nice. Andrea was very helpful at the front desk and overall it was a relaxing stay. The hotel is a bit older and could use some updating but it did not affect my experience. It’s conveniently located a few miles to the national seashore and great restaurants like the Garlic and my personal favorite for casual dining, JBs.

Take Your Chances
Despite a check-in time of 4 pm, we got into the two rooms I booked after 4:30 pm (we arrived at 3:30 PM hoping they might be available) - they weren't, and the front desk suggested that we wait by the pool. Once there, the expected sound of waves splashing on the nearby Atlantic shore was drowned out by the loud noise of construction or cleaning equipment being used by workers at the hotel - possibly supporting roof repair or the carpet cleaning mentioned by the front desk as the reason why our rooms weren't ready. BTW, there was no information regarding maintenance work on the website when I booked the reservations. My room was clean, the layout was great, and everything worked - I couldn't have been happier. The second room for other family members showed signs of damage (a picture torn off the wall was left on the floor leaning against the wall, a door jamb was split as if someone tried to kick it in, a broken toilet seat, and the bathroom floor was filthy (he has pictures) with chunks of dirt/hair in the corners. Were my friends given the "penalty room" because they dared to complain about check-in time not being honored? The hotel made no apology for the inconvenience. Breakfast at the hotel's Seascape Restaurant the following day was enjoyable in the brightly lit room overlooking the ocean, but we weren't sorry to check out and move on. Thoughts: Are check-in times meaningless? If one complains about mistreatment, should they expect revenge? Yes, to both at the NSB BW.

WORST HOTEL
upon entering the room for the first time, the bathroom had been made to look like it was cleaned for us however, the tub was full with water, hair & dirt. towels had literal pubic hair on them which was a huge health violation. the sink also didn’t drain and was moldy, a roach crawled out of it at one point, blinds were broken, the old man at the front desk was rude and wouldn’t give me an extra blanket despite me having Pneumonia and needing one. he looked me up and down and just said “No” ?? i also lost my cats in the room at one point and he scared me even more bc he told my boyfriend that they “probably just jumped off the 7th story balcony onto the pool deck” yet didn’t even offer to unlock it for us and instead had him hop the fence. luckily they were somehow just under the bed and good thing seeing that the staff wasn’t much help! i will not return again. this was the absolute worst vacation i have ever had.

The front desk people were unfriendly and unhelpful. There was supposed to be coffee available in the lobby and one morning it was not available the next day when the coffee was provided there was no sugar and when I tracked down the front desk person to request some she sent me up to the restaurant on the second floor to get some. There was what appeared to be a bag of trash out side a room on the fifth floor which was never removed by housekeeping the entire time we were in the hotel. In the morning there were used towels out side many of the doors on our floor. I have never stayed in a hotel where the housekeeping help did not remove use towels after they cleaned a room. All and all it was a disappointing stay and the fact that it was a Best Western truly amazing.

Everything was horrible. Dirty stinky. When we arrived only one of two elevators were working and was told it had been down for months. Saturday of our stay the other elevator went down and were forced to use stairs from the sixth floor. The couch looked like it was picked up from the side of the road. Saturday night my wife stepped on an exposed staple in the rug. I could go on for hours

We checked in,two elevators and one broke down,the one that was working was extremely slow and tried to shut the door always on a person. Our room smelled of mold,upon further review it is in the ceiling of bedroom closet and the bathroom shower full of mold,I took pictures. There were alot of people living in hotel,fema rooms,with dogs. The view is nice,but no option to have patio door propped open. For what we spent on this room,disgusting conditions.
