- The bathroom taps were broken, and kept on falling off. The water was either too hot or too cold, therefore we were unable to shower or bath.
- The room was cold. It felt like the window had been left open all day, and with it being -1 outside, this meant we were cold for a majority of the time as the radiator didn’t stay on for very long.
- We were unable to use the leisure facilities the following day as we weren’t notified that we wouldn’t be able to use these after check out. We planned on using the facilities post check out, but were informed by the leisure staff that we weren’t allowed in. When paying such a high price, I feel very let down with this.
- The leisure facilities also did not live up to expectations. They look very different to the pictures and the staff made us feel very unwelcome, particularly the man working on the evening of 2/1. He was very abrupt, rudely emphasising to us that we needed to return the key, implying that we wouldn’t. It also made us feel particularly uncomfortable when he was looking through the window of the door through to the pool area. It felt very much like we were being watched.
