Part 2 of previous review My credit statement clearly says Comfort Inns. So they still have not taken action to return my refund. Manager still not there, but I learned some things. Unhappy employees for sure and none from when I was there prior to new management. The hotel fired 2 employees that were perpetrating a scam. My question? How did a charge to the hotel wind up in their pockets. Why has Comfort Inns taken a lack of responsibility attitude? Needless to say I won't be going back. I need answers. I will contact the police and Choice Hotels now. It's been long enough. Aside from the whole stealing episode, the hotel I loved to frequent often, had really suffered from cleanliness, missing towels, the sink dripped hot water for 3 days, the internet did not work, and the parking lot was not plowed. They cut the rates they were paying employees therefore, perhaps you get what you pay for. I can't t say, but it was implied by others. They certainly hired two criminals who were comfortable enough to blatantly steal under the name of Comfort Inns. I brought these things up to a totally demoralized desk clerk who said his hands were tied. I needed to talk to management. I could go on, but I do not know how much space I actually have here. I want you to know I really loved this quiet country place. It is really sad to see it decline so quickly. I wish Bonnie had not "retired" and miss how she ran the place. They lost a customer, me, who stayed between 20 to 30 nights a year.
