Nice, quiet & clean hotel with extras!
Hotel check in was easy. Employees helpful. Parking was free. Warm cookies in lobby, always available. Room & bathroom was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Indoor pool was nice. Breakfast was the basic breakfast with waffles, some type of eggs & meat. Hotel was quiet. Thank you. Would stay again!

Fantastic staff and detail oriented
I arrived late and during a snow storm. The front desk agent, whose name I forgot (I’m terrible with names), had my keys and paperwork all ready printed and ready to go. Even offered for me to grab a hot coffee or tea while she checked me in. This desert girl was frozen and that was perfect after my long drive. I fully expected to have to turn the heat on when I got to my room but to my surprise it was perfectly warm when I walked in. The bed was really comfortable and having an abundance of pillows made for a comfy pillow fort and a good nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was tasty and filling, would be nice if children were to be supervised by their parents but that is not the hotels fault. Check out was a breeze and I will happily book here again.

OK, and nice area, but not great
Our room had a sort of funky smell that was unpleasant to me.The smell reminded me of either dirty grease or body odor and I have had that in one other hotel a few years ago. We received a text from hotels.com, I guess, telling us that if we needed anything, we could text them back. I did, but we never heard anything back from them. The lotion dispenser in the bathroom was also leaking and I was able to pull it off the wall, but even sitting on its side, it appeared to continue to leak. I told the cleaning attendent and then the receptionist, when we were checking out, and was informed that they do not get those texts - they come fro whoever we booked through. They said that we should have called them directly and they would have changed our room, but honestly, we were so tired when we finally got there that we did not want to go through the hastle of getting another room. I left the door open for as long as I could while we were there and before we went to bed, so it did air out enough that I could tolerate it. It was not horrible, but it was also definitely not pleasant. The receptionist said we should report it to hotels.com and maybe they would issue a small credit. I have done that before too, and it was a huge hassle, so I am not sure I will bother this time. She also suggested we book directly through the hotel in the future, and ask if they will price match an internet price if we take a screen shot. We may try that instead.
