No heat or working HDMI
The first time we checked in the heat was broken so we had to walk all the way from the 3rd floor for a new room. Then once we got the new room we find out that the TV was broke and apparently there TV doesn't support HDMI but have the ports for them so I called the front desk guy and he got very rude and smart saying he called IT and it's nothing he can do about it they wouldn't offer us a refund. Being that it was a snow storm we stayed and waited until it stopped and left at 345am. I'm not saying it's a horrible hotel because it was clean but if you're looking to hookup a fire stick or anything that takes HDMI i wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Horrendous Stay
We had to go through 4 rooms before finally having a suitable room. The first room bathroom ceiling was covered in Mold. The second room; The heater malfunctioned and began to smell and smoke profusely, the third room; No heat and we weren’t about to even wait on it to kick in like we did in the second room. Finally the fourth room was more comfortable other than the toilet would not flush appropriately.

The First Night was average. After that it was a constant going to the desk because our key card or lock was malfunctioning and the last night we were evacuated due to smoke on this floor to which the alarms malfunctioned and the phone to call front desk to question alarm was cutoff

We slept well. The hotel was convenient to our activities. The carpet was wet but we were able to use the bed by the dry area. I also dated the lamps and TV while there. The biggest problem was the WiFi was not working well and I do depend on WiFi to make daily plans.

Mold/Smells/Dirt
Hotel seems nice when you walk in.. but as you start going through it you’ll see tons of bubbles up wallpaper, dirty and stained carpets.. missing lights in the hallway. There was a bag of garbage that was left in the hallway from about 8p til this morning. The room STUNK like some kind of carpet refresh powder, stains on floor, bathroom tub looked dirty, walls look like they hadn’t been wiped down in ages and pink algae on the soap dishes in the corner. Ceiling had black mold on it, looks like they had replaced the mirror but left mismatched paint and holes in the wall. Fridge was about a foot away from the wall with a mound of dirt behind it.. the heater screeched most of the night… wouldn’t stay here again. Btw I did ask the front desk to look into the heater.. nothing was done because the settings where where I had left them.

WILL NEVER STAY AGAIN
Old food from previous stay. Old food on floor sand feeling on sheets. No wash cloths. Dirty shower curtain, shower leaks on bathroom floor. Heater didn’t work. Paint chips falling when shutting doors. Bathroom light flickered

Typical motel room, not much more or less……but not ice maker available for any guest…….difficult to understand since this is a 5 story building and there is an ice maker on each floor, but in this instance non were working……..no ice…….how is this possible ???

Subject: Concern Regarding Recent Stay Dear [Hotel Manager of La Quinta inn I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a recent experience my family and guests had at your hotel. I had arranged for them to stay at your establishment, but unfortunately, their experience fell far below expectations. Upon arrival, they encountered a significant issue with their room, as the bathroom emitted a strong sewage odor. When they inquired about switching rooms, they were informed that no alternatives were available. Moreover, there was a noticeable lack of empathy from the staff, with no apologies offered or potential solutions presented. Additionally, I was surprised to see that the front desk staff were dressed in casual street clothes, which did not convey a professional image. I believe that having staff wear uniforms or name tags would enhance the overall guest experience and convey a sense of professionalism. Given these circumstances, my family ultimately had to vacate your hotel and find accommodations at the Embassy Suites. While I understand that hotels can be fully booked, the absence of a proactive approach to addressing the situation was disheartening. Acknowledging the issue and offering assistance would have gone a long way in improving our experience.
