Friendly service, Loud, Poor bathroom
The hotel was very convenient to the center of town and to the Run Catalina race I was running in. Due to the race weekend, I know hotel rates were inflated. However, I would have expected more for the $400/night that we spent on the room offseason. Eg, there were soap and shampoo dispensers but no conditioner. Again for the price, I think conditioner could have been included. Also, the shower was uncomfortable and messy. The shower curtain did not even cover to the base of the tub (shown in the photos). Why?? A proper length shower curtain costs all of $10. There were also slits in the curtain, which meant water got everywhere. If I was paying under $100/night for a room, maybe those things would have been acceptable. But if you're going to charge $400 a night, the shower experience could have been majorly improved upon with very little cost on the hotel's part. Our room was located on the exterior of the building, which meant a ton of street noise. We could hear everyone walking by as if they were in our room, which was annoying. Also there is an elevator right outside the room which sounded like an alarm going off when it was running. Please replace the old elevator or do not rent that room! It's so loud! The staff was very nice though and provided me with a toothbrush when I forgot mine. The hotel also accommodated an early check in which was unexpected and very nice.
No conditioner dispenser.

Very Nice
The room was very nice. It is walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the Casino. Bathroom was large with a seperate tub and shower. We will definitely stay here again.

I booked this room for a quick stay as I am hiking the TransCatalina Trail. The room was awesome and the courtyard was a nice surprise. Room was great and comfortable. I will use Courtyard again when I am in Avalon. I think my wife a daughter will love it as much as I did. Thank you!

Wonderful experience 10/10
The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The courtyard area was lovely especially at night. It was relaxing and quiet sitting by the fire after a long day out exploring. Jacob was wonderfully warm and welcoming at check-in and was also very caring and attentive during our stay. Overall everyone and everything at this hotel was fantastic, definitely would recommend.

Great location! Great service!
We stayed there for 3 nights for New Year celebration. We loved it! Jacob treated us as a family! He was so helpful, welcoming and fun! Qe got to meet his friend who was as welcoming and fun. We had a small issue with the tub, Jacob fixed it instantly. We would definitely stay there again.
