I had a lovely stay at Crowne Plaza with my daughters. We were welcomed with a smile by a friendly receptionist and a different receptionist checked us out with equal charm. We appreciated the delicious drinks at reception and were very comfortable in our room. We all slept very well. We also enjoyed using the fitness suite. The only minor quibble is the water fountain there was difficult to use. The pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were lovely.

An above average hotel.
Me and my family had a nice stay here. Although the pool was a bit of a fuss to get into as we had to wait ten to twenty minutes for people to go out and there was only four of us going in. As we counted there were 9 people walking out with swimming supplies. When we got in the pool was nice quite small but good for a family of four to five. There was also a hot tub , sauna and steam room as children under 16 were not aloud in them as the sauna and steam room made sense but me and my children did not like the fact they didn’t have the ability to relax in the hot tub. Next, the breakfast was great including the items for a full English or even pastries and they had a variety of things including tropical drinks. The beds were comfy and you couldn’t hear others through walls which was great and there was all of the necessities that you would need. The service including reception was great as my eldest son was sleepwalking and the receptions were really kind as he rang them up and he asked for a extra key to get back into the room and they kindly granted it to him. The actual area of the hotel was great as it was only a short walk into the heart and centre of the city as it was not too far or too close to the loud noises of the city. Although checking in to your room was good but you were only aloud to get into your room upon arriving after three. As children could have had a long day and needed rest as I think your room should either be ready or a ten minute wait upon arrival.

The buisiness lounge was like a nursery with many children running noisily round half dressed with toys all over the floor. The room was cold that took 2 hours to get warm The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows are similar to cement bags

Lovely place to stay.
From the moment we arrived at reception we were exceedingly happy with our stay. The receptionists were delightful. Our room was airy, clean and well stocked with tea/coffee/hot chocolate and lovely bathroom products. Breakfast was delicious with great options for meat eaters and vegans! And all the staff were pleasant and friendly. A lovely place to stay.

Not up to Crown Plaza Standard
Hotel needs a complete refurb. I am IHG Platinum Elite member and I stay in their hotels all over the world and the condition of this Crown Plaza falls well below the usual standard. Windows in bedrooms look like they are about 50 years old, and the rooms feel ‘tired’. spa area including changing rooms needs completing redecorating. Restaurant and bar area is nice

Lovely stay
Lovely stay at the Crowne plaza Leeds. Patrice on reception is a real asset to the team she is so friendly and helped us with an issue we had with the heating. She checked on us the next morning to make sure it was all ok. She gave us a smile and a wave every time we came past she really made our stay. The breakfast was really excellent the best we have had in a while. The pool is really nice & we will be coming again.
