Tay, the receptionist when I check in, talked in an extremely loud voice and told me it as against protocol to switch my room when I discovered the thermostat did not work upon first entering the room she gave me. This was the second time I heard her proclaiming something about hotel protocol in a very loud voice to another guest.
I have been staying at this hotel for well over 25 years when visiting family. The beds are comfortable, the rooms fairly spacious, many with walk in showers. The couches and chairs throughout the hotel are old, worn and often soiled. I don’t think they have been replaced in decades.
Frank, who checked me out, was great. Polite, efficient and friendly, in contrast to my difficult check in with Tay the receptionist the night before.
