Hotel location is nice but room needed repairs. Received an email indicating balconies were “closed for repairs”…upon checking in we see signs up that the balconies were CONDEMNED…definitely not the same thing. Owner needs to get things back up to high quality of w they intend to continue charging $300 a night when you can’t even open your windows for some fresh air.

Renovation works
Just booked a balcony room through expedia. Was looking forward to the pool. When arrived there seemed to be construction works. All balconies closed, pool closed, no breakfast. When I looked again on the website it's mentioned in the fine print below. Who checks that when the description mentions a pool and a balcony. Very dissappointing for the highest price in the area. Also 2 strange hairs in my bed and an alarm clock with usb but no plug in the wall. Why is it even there then? Shower made a whistling noise and the connecting door moved with the wind. Great bed but didn't sleep well. Filled in a survey after check in but no response. Nothing was asked upon check out. I wouldn't recommend.

In the process of updating, so no balcony or pool access. We were told ahead of time. Still such a nice property and will return to its earlier glory once remodeled. Staff wasn’t as friendly as usual, but certainly still prompt and polite. Will always return here.

Balcony was condemned. Legal notice if we used it imprisonment or thousand dollar fine!!! Pool was closed. Access to ocean closed! Restaurants closed! No room service! TV not working. Terrible!

I’ve had the experience more than once of staying at a hotel being remodeled. Even knowing it before, it was shocking to see the balcony condemed sign taped on every door. Pool was also closed. I just felt the hotel did not offer anything extra to make up for the inconvinience. In other hotels where the pool was closed, there would be a small buffet, some boxed wine. Not worth the price per night.

Everything was as we expected except the balcony was not accessible. It was mentioned in the reservation but it was not that noticeable. We booked that room or hotel for the beach view balcony but it was a set back. Not saying it was their fault but it could have been highlighted more so that it catches our eye. Because the room type says balcony in bold but not this disclaimer.
