This is a beautiful resort and a pristine setting. They’re very eco-minded, which is greatly appreciated. Are only complaint was that the restaurant was very expensive and the food was OK. Both my husband and I ordered fish and they literally killed it. Mine came out charred, even though it wasn’t supposed to be blackened, and it was so dry I couldn’t eat it. my husband’s was similar. We found other restaurants in the area that were lovely. Try the Rhum House and The Plaza for fine dining. There are also many other waterfront tiki bar type restaurants that have fantastic food.

Very good, just a few hiccups
For the price point this is an extremely good hotel. Clean & very new / recently updated. Just a few hiccups. First day requested turned down and didn’t get it, second day. We left a room a little late and didn’t get housekeeping done by the time we got back. Called to request it again and 20 minutes later. got a text message saying that they couldn’t clean the room because the Do Not Disturb sign was up. Went to the room and the Do Not Disturb sign was not up. Also, the first night we had reservations at the restaurant and they called me to try to push the Reservations by half hour to which I did not accept or agree to, but I thought it was unprofessional to advise me only one hour before my reservation to try to change my reservation time. Lastly, they do not give you an option for a free parking. It’s $30 a nightor don’t go there by car. Also, it was kind of disappointing that the beach bar was closed at 10 on a Saturday night when it was still open at 11 on the Friday night. Also, I was not aware of my Hotels.com platinum membership benefit until I receive the email from Hotels.com to ask if I was told about it, so I called the front desk and only was given that information after making the call.

Terrible Customer Service!
I was honestly about to give a 5-star review for my wonderful stay, which I would have loved to talk about, but unfortunately has been tainted by the terrible customer service I received as soon as I got my bill and left the property. It was my understanding that as a Gold member through hotels.com, that I would be receiving a $48 food and beverage credit per night stay. It was actually only a one-time $48 food credit. Maybe I read it wrong- okay, but in my opinion, the wording is deceiving on hotels.com when I booked my reservation. But the worst part was that the $48 a day food credit that I thought I was receiving, was confirmed by a check-in staff member and so I went about my entire trip thinking that I needed to spend at least $48 a day at the resort to receive my credit. So you can imagine my shock when I got my bill and then to be told that all they can do is ensure they train their staff better, is laughable (which is what they say to every bad review and angry customer on here instead of actually addressing the individual issue). The right thing to do would have been to honor the mistake that their staff member made and keep their paying customers happy and wanting to come back. I was so looking forward to bringing my family back here in the future but unfortunately just feel too disrespected by the management here. And oh by the way - there is a hidden $30/day parking fee on top of the resort fee that they don’t tell you about either until you check in. Ridiculous!

The resort was beautiful and in a great location . Staff were very friendly and helpful . The spa services were great and there were planets of activities . I guess all the positives about the resort outweighed the negatives , which were many fees and taxes on top of those fees . It was quite expensive , as long as you are prepared for that , as well as a few daily fee to park there .

Our new favorite get away spot
The staff was incredible from our check in to when we checked out. The staff at all three restaurant locations were super attentive and made our stay extra special. We loved it so much we have already booked to return next week with the rest of our family.
