Something doesn’t smell right
Checked in online in the Hilton app and said we would arrive at 3pm and chose our room. When we arrived at 2:50pm, we were told the room was not yet ready. Not a big deal. We sat in the lobby thinking it wouldn’t take much longer. An hour later and we still hadn’t heard anything so I went back to the desk. They then told me the room had a bad Odor and gave us the same room on a different floor. Again, not a big deal but I’m beginning to see a trend at this particular hotel. This is the second time they have used this excuse when I have stayed there.
My family complained that the bathroom water never seemed to get hot enough in the shower or at the sink. We also thought the room we were in had a weird odor when we entered. As long as we kept the ceiling fan on, it was ok. Also thought the towels had a weird odor and I don’t mean like bleach.
We aren’t normally ones to be so picky but there were just too many things off about this stay.
