Great place- being your own pillow!
The room was perfect. It’s small but they did well with the adjustable bed, storage underneath, small shower and bathroom, and a tiny closet. They had water at each elevator stop and a fine little gym with interactive life fitness machines and weights. The neighborhood is rough but both the hotel and city have done a lot to make it safe with security 24/7 and hundreds of volunteers on the streets so we felt fine walking everywhere including to Chinatown and back. There’s super close public transport, Waylon, and ride shares if it’s too much for you though. And they have a list of neighborhood restaurants that you get a discount with your room key. Check out the roof top bar at the hotel proper across the street for an amazing view and overpriced cocktail.
My only complaint is that the pillows are built for giraffes. They were legitimately 14” tall. After 3 nights my neck was as killing me but they had no other options.

Run, do not walk!
The room was not as described and I immediately complained with the staff that did nothing to give me a room like the one I had reserved. I was supposed to get a suite with a seperate bedroom, a private bathroom, and a separate sitting area. None of those were true.

This is a pretty cool hotel. So many amenities like shared workspaces, fitness room, super-fast wifi, water/ice stations on every floor, fresh, modern interiors.

The hotel was perfect, near Bart station and plenty of public transportation. But the neighbour hood is kind of creepy

The weather was beautiful. Our room was very clean and actually bigger than anticipated. The continental breakfast got a little crowded and very dirty. They need mor people monitoring it. The area where it was located was convenient however at dusk was extremely unsettling with the largest homeless population i have ever seen. I would not stay alone at this hotel or with children in the future. I was with my husband so it was fine. I would stay there again if it were us two.

Nice But Neighborhood, Not So Much
Everything was fine but the streets surrounding the hotel after dark are a homeless zombie-like nightmare. San Francisco needs to fix this.

We liked the accommodation ( inside room and building). Comfortable and clean. We appreciate the water and ice dispenser on each floor.
Breakfast was limited. My daughter only drink hot chocolate, but they only had tea or coffee. Refilling of milk dispensers, jams are not done regularly. Appreciate the fruits, but would have wanted banana as other option. Croissant are always cold. Pls. Consider variety each day. Please consider peanut butter as another option.
I would highly suggest offering transportation to your guests as we felt very unsafe walking in and out the hotel. Or offer mini fridge and microwave in rooms for convenience.

Hotel is clean. Downsides are the neighborhood and no private bathroom door, just a curtain
