Where do I start? Holiday from hell... The website online was very deceiving. All inclusive 5 star hotel - no, not at all. More like a 2 star at best. The island believes in 'No Stress' yes this is true for them but it was very stressful for us. In our group we had 4 strict vegetarians (that ate eggs) but the restaurants including the buffet did not cater for us. Throughout our stay, we had to eat chips and pizza everyday for every meal. What made matters worst was they have a so called booking system for their a la carte restaurants, but you can never find a booking online...
When we managed to get a booking for the restaurants and asked if some of the main courses could exclude the meat option and just have the standard vegetables, we were told no. One of the restaurants Rancho, had a vegetarian taco starter and when we asked to order 2 per person, as each dish only had ONE taco, we were told no, this can't be done. There was no apology or alternative offered except a chuckle from the waitress 'oh you're vegetarian, hahaha'.. DISAPPOINTING!
The website and Expedia both state an indian cuisine restaurant, Sahel (which you'd assume can cater for vegetarians as this cuisine is mainly vegetarian) but when we arrived, this restaurant did not exist - how shambolic! It was a meat restaurant of African cuisine.
The staff are not helpful at all, they act like it's a chore to speak to you.
The hotel is infested with mosquitos and we were bitten alive by them - be warned.
