Know what you’re getting into before you stay!
When my partner and I stayed, our king bed only had two pillows. We requested more, but they told us they had a “pillow shortage” and we would have to make do. By day 2 we found out they were not serving free breakfast as advertised, and the juice and coffee machines were marked out of order. We wouldn’t have minded this as much, except the vending machine was ALSO out of order, so we were forced to walk down the street for drinks, food, and snacks. Both my partner and I started feeling congested while staying in the room. We also noticed our smoke alarm was ripped from the ceiling and missing. No cleaning ever came, no additional towels aside from the 2 towels included at check in, and overall just a poor experience. We knew we weren’t staying at a 5 star hotel or anything, but I’ve done a lot of cheap hotel stays and this was truly the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. If it were possible, my partner and I would’ve left and gone to a different hotel in the area on night one.
