This property was conveniently located. We were close to a park we were playing a. Baseball tournament in, we went to Riio for a very nice dinner, and to Rockville town square for some quick shopping.
The staff was friendly, and the bartender Zia was AWESOME.
I didn’t at all appreciate the way a large group seated at the bar was spoken to by the night manager- she scolded a group of adults quietly sitting and talking, to announce that the lobby was closing and they needed to move along. This was at 10:15 as I was checking in. I actually had to return to the desk to ask for blankets and pillows to be sent up for our pullout bed, and she was hollering across me & across the lobby, to both other staff and guests. It was rude, and very unprofessional. When I asked for the pillows and blankets, I was told they would be brought up. I went to my car, got a bag, and when I got back to my room, the pillows were thrown on the bed and the blanket was just tossed on the bed. I hadn’t given permission for her to just walk in my room, and I was not pleased to see the careless way the things were just tossed in. They could have been left at the door, or at the front desk. Again, unprofessional.
The rest of the staff was lovely however, and I enjoyed our stay.
