Deceptively comfortable

The Hotel is in an industrial area and is not spectacular in appearance…. But the cottage rooms were newly redone and clean. The staff was nice and worked with us to find a room. Again, for the area the room was fine at the price point. How hotels used to be.

This place is cute in its rustic country charm. It is obvious that the owners have put a lot of care in making this a place of comfort. This is a very small community geared for trucker's. We truly enjoyed our stay here.

The room was relatively clean but the shower did not work and we did not discover until 11:30 PM and calling the people who run the place that late at night did not seem like a good option as we did not want to deal with them late at night. I asked for a discount since the shower did not work and seemed to have been out of commission for a while. No refund was offered.

I was given a key to a room with someone still in the room with his luggage. That’s was uncomfortable at best. The tv didn’t work with the cable tv. No channels. If your going to charge $100 a night at least give the customer their money worth and not just treat people like cattle.
