After my stay at this resort, I would NEVER go back to the Dominican Republic, the resort was a horrific experience. The rooms flooded and no one cleaned up the water. There was visible mold in the vents. My whole family was sick by the second day. My husband and brother got food poisoning and were on the toilet the last three days of the four day vacation, from the food. The food was awful. The ribeye at the steak house was not ribeye at all and was tough, everything is overcooked. The same foods are served at the buffet for all three meals. We ended up eating most of our meals off the resort, which is another nightmare. We paid $80 in taxes and fees on top of a $290 bill for lunch for four people. The lobby is not air conditioned. SMELLS LIKE MILDEW BAD!!! The sheets are damp and smell of mildew, there are puddles of water everywhere and it’s very slippery. You have to make reservations to eat and there are no reservations available upon check in. Staff is rude and pretends not to understand. Watch your bags, one of mine was removed from groups luggage and didn’t make it to the airport. I was hung up on by the resort. They said, “ Ma’am you must have told him not help with luggage! “ We missed our flight ( first class ) nonstop. Ended up with a connecting flight getting us home the next day… The resort is really spread out, it takes a long time to walk anywhere. Unique” members are the only ones who could experience a decent vacation. I do not recommend this hotel.
