Updated motor inn for the win

We love the updated and remodeled motor inns and how they can be modernized while keeping the cool vibes of the originals. I'd stay in a place like this any day over the generic hotels. Great spot for a nice walk in to town and easy access to getting back on the road. Loved the stay, want to come back.

Great for a Couple's Getaway!

This was such a unique and fun stay! Check in was super easy and quick. The Velma was spacious and comfy. We enjoyed the hot tub and the amenities. I was initially concerned about the shared bathrooms, but encountered no issues of waiting or sharing. They were clean and available!

Love it and coming back soon!!

Our stay at the Amigo was lovely. We were in Salida for two nights and absolutely loved the Amigo. Our room was clean and in perfect condition. I love that we had 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels and 4 wash cloths. There was always someone available to help with anything we needed. Love the fridge and fan in the room too. Sheets could have been better. Bamboo sheets on Amazon are fab! We will be back for sure!

What a great place

This is a great place to stay. We stayed in an airstream room. They had a hot tub available. Breakfast was muffins, granola bars, and oatmeal, grab and go style. Everyone was very friendly.

Stay HERE for unique experience

I surprised my husband with this "glamping" experience on a Colorado roadtrip getaway. I highly recommend staying in the Velma -- an Airstream. It was very fun. The staff is SO NICE and everything was very clean and well-maintained. The towels were plush and the grounds had a fire pit, cornhole and a nice big hot tub. The location is very convenient, just a short drive to the river and downtown area. The 5 Airstreams share a bathhouse with two nicely appointed bathroom/shower areas. They were very clean and we never had to wait.

No potty

I didn’t realize there would be no toilet of any kind in my airstream “room.” I read about, and was prepared for an exterior shower house, but not for no toilet whatsoever in the room. There was no WiFi. No hairdryer. No paper towels in the bathroom that I used and carrying one’s own towel 50 yards was awkward. No mirror in the room for applying makeup or combing hair. Otherwise, very neat and clean. Temperature very nice. Bedding nice. Bed would be too small for anyone close to six feet tall.
