The place is right out of the 50s, and has been maintained but apparently not much changed since then. Friendly staff, and quiet, comfortable (if aged) rooms. Surprisingly expensive, but there are relatively few hotels in the town, so there isn’t much competition. The establishment is so “vintage” that it still uses the plastic diamond key fobs, and the manager gave me one for my collection.

Stanlunds is not a new property, but is very well kept up. The rooms are spacious with a small kitchen and would be great for a longer stay when you might be doing some of your own cooking. The manager is friendly and helpful and gives a great first impression when you check in. We'll definitely stay here again.
