Great location, but in need of refurb
The hotel is nice and centrally located walking distance down to the key side and into the city centre. The room sit on top of a pub so if you're on the first floor there can be a little bit of noise if they have a party in which they did on the Friday night that we were there.
The bed was comfortable in a large room won't AC, however the Internet connection was a bit hit and miss sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't but other times it was painfully slow.
For me, the bathroom really let the stay down there was black mould all around the shower cubicle and I can't help but feel that the grouting could've just been replaced pretty cheaply. I really felt that I didn't want to go in that shower but obviously had no choice.
We did ask for our room to be cleaned as they asked us when we checked in and despite us being out for most of the day on Saturday they came in when we did so we had to turn them away as we needed to get ready to go out that Saturday evening.
I'm sure at one point this hotel would've been absolutely beautiful, but it is in need of some refurbishment, but if you can get past the bathroom and want something reasonably priced in a great location, then go for it.
