Called on the way there to confirm our room was on the 1st floor cause we had dogs, they said it was. Arrived 3 hours later to be told our room wasn't available. They gave us a different room on the 2nd floor which was fine. Then we got in the room, only to find It wasn't in the best of condition. The windows didn't shut all the way. So you could hear the highway all day and night long. The kitchen sink faucet was falling apart. The tubs didn't drain well. And the remotes for the TVS didn't work properly. Upon opening them found that the batteries were leaking acid in them.
The night, before checkout. We asked to get a lake checkout for Sunday morning. Only to be told that a late checkout was not available for Sunday due to his manager saying so. The manager wasn't there, so I couldn't speak with him. He was just told he's not allowed to do it. I asked why he didn't know. I understand they want to have the staff out of there by a certain time on Sundays, but we've been going there for years. We stay there every time we come to town. We are rewards members, And they wouldn't budge, not to mention, it's almost $400 a night. I explained my dissatisfaction upon checkout, to the person at the front desk. They apologize and said there was nothing they could do.It's, it's the hotel, it's a manager. It's the company. I don't know, but for my money. I'll go elsewhere.
