I know it's the season, but.
The interior hallway of this two story walk up motel looks freshly painted. The room was partially redone, with work ongoing in the bathroom - no toilet paper holder, no soap dispenser and no hand soap so it was necessary to step into the walk in shower to get a squirt of body wash. No paintings on the wall. Pretty barebones. Bed comfortable. Prices in June start at $71 but we paid $184. Worth $71.

Clean but tired and overpriced
Loved visiting Everglades City! The hotel was Overpriced for a tired facility with little/no ameneties and no front desk or lobby. I had to provide my own hand soap in the bathroom! “Kitchenette” was a non-equipped sink and refrigerator. We had to drive up the street to check in and out. Bathroom, while clean, seemed to be in the middle of wall repairs.Hairdryer did not work. The two double bed room would have been better priced at $100/night.

Don't waste your money
Check in is not at the hotel we stayed at but 6 blocks up the street. It was a Wed night and nothing was open within walking distance for drinks or dinner, even though it was advertised as having a bar/restaurant onsite. Door did not have a secure deadbolt and we were connected to a room that we could not securely lock out as well. A/C was not turned on when we arrived which made the tile floors full of condensation and very slick. Overall, not worth half of what we paid to stay here. Two thumbs down. There is one bar/restaurant in town and they close at 8pm.

BLACK MOLD
Caulk in bathtub had mildew and attached picture shows that bathroom has BLACK MOLD...very unhealthy! All I got from then front desk was an apology and that someone will look into it. The room need to be closed and the walls torn out!

Clean and pretty it up a little!
Just an overnight on the way to the Keys - why did they put us on the road-facing room when a quieter space was available? Bathroom had mold in the grout. Nothing on the walls and there were some bugs inside. Put some paintings up, seriously! Felt like a barracks

Just ugh
Check in is at another hotel down the street, no warning until you get here and FIND the sign. Rooms are ok, no ice machine, no extra pillows/linens. Pillows have no substance structure. I won’t stay here again.

Quintessential motel
The hotel looks vintage, but reminds me of a quintessential little Florida motel. The beds were comfy, ac was cold, fresh clean sheets, fluffy white towels, great little pool overlooking the everglades. Best priced rooms in town! Would stay here again.

Captain’s Table
It’s an old building that needs upgrading. Low cost repairs like paint, screen repair, light fixtures and porch flooring are needed. Fencing separating two porches was broken and a wall on the porch needed painting after the AC was installed last May. It was clean, but I wouldn’t recommend it until it’s better maintained. It’s too bad because I’ve stayed there for 22 years.
