Straight out of a horror movie

As soon as i drove on the property, I could tell that the building had not been maintained. The room was not very clean, crumbs under the bedsheets. The shower rod was hanging off of the wall thus making it impossible to shower without the curtain sliding to the middle of the rod. The pool looks nothing like the pictures, one is completely filled in with a fence all around the outside pools with weeds growing everywhere. No waterfall from the rocks or a lazy river. A lot is to be desired for this hotel.

WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT WHAT YOU GET!!!!

This "resort" is a joke!! Things fell off the wall, locks were broken, screen to sliding glass door had holes in it, no cold water in our room, AC leaked and was LOUD! There was NO grounds maintenance. Weeds EVERYWHERE, overgrowth of trees and bushes. When on the deck you were staring at weeds instead of a beautiful outdoor pool area. The outdoor pool: at least two pools filled in with dirt and weeds, lazy river is not used so dont expect to ever use it, kids area is fenced off and not used EVER! The waterfalls in one pool do not work, no bar or food stand ALL FADED AND SHUT DOWN. Inside pool: NOT ENOUGH rafts put out, one slide was shut down, assume ALWAYS down. There is no breakfast but there is a room for it. Not sure what the $20 a day "resort" fee was for. Oh, NO microwaves in rooms just one for everyone in the HALLWAY! This place has so much potential if the owners took pride in it. They just want a quick money maker. Stay somewhere else!! Better to stay somewhere that offers FREE attraction tickets!! Very disappointed in the OLD PRE COVID ADVERTISING THIS PLACE PUTS OUT THERE!!!!

Terrible stay

We were five people, three adults, two children, they do not have a microwave in the room. I took two babies and I have to heat their milk. They have a microwave but it is too far from the room. We went to the pool and there is no laundry where I am going to dry my wet clothes. I had to go look for a laundry outside the hotel, waste two hours of my time to dry my clothes. The first day they did not come to clean the room, I had to notify them to go clean the room because they did not have it on the list, the television channels were terrible, all these small things do not make for a comfortable stay. I definitely do not recommend it and I will not return.

Pool area(s) need some love and attention. That kids waterpark could use some updating, we kid scraped their bottom coming out of the slide onto this hard plastic. They blew a whistle at 745pm and said the pool was closed! The ouside pool area is a fright! Strange people hanging outside the entrance doors did not make me feel safe with a small child. The rooms were VERY dated. I understand with the big resorts its hard to keep up, however, a little try goes a long way. Not a terrible hotel, but definitely not the best place to stay either. Well off the beaten path and in a quiet area. Was quiet when we checked in on a week night, but as it filled up on the weekend we could very clearly hear the guests above us. The carpet was stained and dirty. There was a dehumidifier in our room that ran continually and was very loud. Beds were not comfortable, we had a queen and pull out couch. The pool was less than desirable and only open until 8:00. Most mornings the hallway smelled of pot. It was a cheap accomodation, so I guess we got what we paid for, but the price seemed a bit high for what it actually was.

Baby Roaches of the Polynesian hotel

My family vacation was ruined by the Polynesian Hotel & hotel.com because when we checked into the room, we went to put our bags down. There was a roach crawling up the wall. Make a very long story shorts. The Polynesian manager was willing to give me 100% of my refund back. That was very nice of him. But not only did the place look deserted and ran down but I’ve been fighting with hotel.com to get my money back because they are refusing to give me my refund back since last Thursday because they’re saying they can’t get a hold of the Polynesian hotel & they refused to give me a refund on my stay at the polynesian from hotels.com. I found it very sad that I was stuck in another state with my family obviously not gonna stay at the Polynesian hotel because they have roaches because I’m not bringing roaches to my house. I’ve been getting the run around and fighting with hotel.com trying to get my refund back. This is so unprofessional, when I have proof from the hotel, willing to give my money back, but it’s hotel.com giving me the problem. when clearly you could see in the pictures put the Polynesian gave me paperwork stating they are giving me 100% of my refund but hotel.com doesn’t wanna honor it and this is very unprofessional and this family vacation was the not only a stranded family on a hell vacation trip!!
