Great place for any Grand Teton visitor

My room and the shared bathroom were very clean, and things were quiet during my stay. There on-site restaurant and shop were convenient and let me focus on enjoying the parks!

Great but too many mosquitoes to enjoy

Wonderful property with everything you could need but the bugs are thick, even in the room. We killed mosquitoes the entire time. Love feeling the outdoors & roughing it BUT once we close the door to our room don’t want to feel it all night while sleeping & showering. Comfy bed but only one flat pillow for each. It was older & dark & our power was flickering in the bathroom. We got 2 rooms, one for my aunt & uncle which was upgraded & it was huge & very beautiful but hard to enjoy with door not sealing & bugs, mouse sticky pads, bats visible in the wood outside & could hear the bats in the bathroom.

It would be ideal if a little refrigerator w litttle freezer were in every room, just like all other hotels. It is an unneccesary hardship for guests to manage without one. We NEED to refrigerate meds and perishable food and drinks. They are not expensiive & could easily fit under the desk.

I loved the property and room. The food was excellent. The only thing I didn't like was the servers were perhaps understaffed but once they knew we were done with our dinner it took about 22 minutes for her to complete our check out. 15 minutes to bring the check, another 7 at least to bring back our card. Maybe I'm a Karen, but it felt like she neglected us while serving everyone else and engaging in conversations. Just get us checked out please, it's the last and easiest step of the process.

Mosquitoes galore!

Avoid at any cost. The location is only plus. Other than that, nothing else to mention positive. After check in, we saw mosquitoes all over the property, and even more in room. Asked the owner any remedies for mosquitoes so we can get good night sleep, but owner shows little to no regard and his response ‘we are in the wilderness and there are mosquitoes everywhere, but a mosquito spray from my store’. So he expected to use mosquito spray for staying over night in the room? And it’s just lazy maintenance. Other properties around the area are much better. We went to dinner at buffalo valley ranch nearby and no mosquitoes there. They spray property to avoid this issue.

Excellent resort!

We had a wonderful experience at this resort in Moran, Wyoming! The entire property was extremely clean, well-maintained, and absolutely charming. The atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. The on-site dinner restaurant was fabulous—the food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Everything felt clean and thoughtfully taken care of. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hatchet! All of the staff was very friendly. The food at the restaurants onsite was AMAZING, probably the best food we ate during our whole trip! We were a little worried about no AC but they provide a fan and with the windows open it was a little chilly when we woke up. Beds were comfy, atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay there again!

Rude check-in and mosquitos in the room

The check-in staff was quite rude and unwelcoming. While the suite looks nice, there are mosquitoes flying around the room, and there's no air conditioning.

Vous devriez avoir honte de proposer ce type d’hébergement à 200 euros la nuit .Je parle des chambres avec cabinet de toilette séparé.Vous mentez par omission dans la présentation du produit.Il fallait préciser que c’était à l’étage avec un escalier extérieur.J’ai un peu plus de 81 ans et ma femme est légèrement handicapée de la hanche et d’un genou , merci pour la grimpette !Dans la chambre il n’y a presque rien.Deux lits de tailles différentes et le plus grand à un matelas fatigué,pour être poli.Pour allumer la pièce il n’y a qu’un simple bouton , pas de va être vient ,pratique quand on se couche !Il n’y a pas de miroir , il n’y a pas le moindre crochet pour accrocher nos affaires il n’y a pas la m plus petite bouteille d’eau avec un verre en plastique ( pratique le soir pour avaler les médicaments)Bien sûr pas de cafetière ? équipement que l’on trouve dans tous les hôtels, même de catégorie inférieure.Un placard mansardé était destiné à recevoir quelques effets : il n’est pas éclairé et si vous faites plus d’1,70m oubliez,vous ne pourrez pas rentrer dedans Par contre ce qui est éclairé toute la nuit , c’est la chambre !En effet la porte d’entrée de la chambre est tellement mal conçue qu’elle laisse passer la lumière du couloir ( allumé toute la nuit) en haut , en bas et sur les 2 côtés La région est magnifique et notre vue de la fenêtre mansardée donnait sur la station service de l’hôtel !On pouvait espérer mieux ! Les serviettes de toilette étaient petites et râpeuses.

I would love a fridge in the rooms. They have ice but ask you don't fill coolers. Otherwise, the rooms are comfy and the location is beautiful.
